Artelac Eye Drops for Dry Eye, Every Day, Preservative Free Dry Eyes Treatment, Contact Lens Friendly, Relieves Symptoms of Tired, Stressed & Teary Eyes with Hydrating Action, Artificial Tears, 10ml

After 18 years of contact lenses and solutions I had become allergic (or bilt up and intolerance to the low levels of preservatives) to every contact lenses solution that Specsavers supply, so moves to Bio-true by Bausch and lomb. A year ago I had corrective laser surgery in both eyes, and needed eye drops, most weren't suitable because they felt like acid was being poured in my eyes, and would make them go red, but Hylo forte and similar worked well, but even they (even though they are preservative free) started to sting at the end of the day. So I thought I'd try something my Bausch and Lomb, and this has the same ingredients as the solution I got on with, and it works perfectly. I like that it shoots in your eye, so even if you are a passenger in a car, or walking around, you can still aim and fire one in your eye. I also like that you can get every last drop out of them, so when you shake them and you hear it getting empty you know when you need a new one, unlike the competition that have a certain amount that impossible to get out (they don't charge you for that amount, it's just how the dispenser is built, but it doesn't help with knowing how much you have left) Over the moon with these, because without them I really do have limited options. Plus 10ml for the price is good value, and they last a long time.

I didn’t expect much from these drops at first, especially because they’re cheaper than other brands that claim to do the same thing, but they honestly work really well. They feel light and soothing, and I like that they’re preservative free and safe to use with contact lenses. They don’t sting, they don’t leave any greasy film, and my eyes feel refreshed almost right away. The only thing I don’t love is the applicator. I find it a bit tricky to use and I personally prefer a simple dropper because it’s easier for me to control. Even with that, the product itself works great and is very effective for daily dryness. For the price, it’s a really good option.

Most eye drops make my eyes sting and this doesnt! I have used their gel for several years as it was the best one for my eyes. It is 4 star because the applicator bottle is difficult. sometimes you pump it few times and it doesn't come out and then you've blinked. it's such a shame .

I purchased this looking for a cheaper alternative to the preservative-free drops of the 'H' brands. Helps soothe my dry eyes and it does not give me the sticky effect I sometimes get when I use the H brand drops several times a day (might just be me though). Works equally well, and is also free of preservatives, thanks to its pumping mechanism, which is easy to use. The mechanism is not as reliable as the one on the Hylo/Hycosan bottles, but you can just press it again in case nothing comes out. I don't think this is a reason to deduct any stars, works as well and is cheaper than my previous eye drops!

Amazing product, comfortable with lenses and keep eyes very moisturising!

I don't normally write reviews as I don't have much free time. But I really want to stress how good these drops are. I've had dry eyes for a long time which was making me ill and I didn't even realise it was due to something as minor as dry eyes. It got to a point where screens hurt my eyes after 1 minute of use, and as a video game nerd who works a 9-5 office job, existing became painful. Black text on a white background was a no no and gave me the worst brain fogs and headaches. I invested in a pair of blue light reading glasses and I am only 31 years old, they helped but the issue came back around Easter 2021. I would feel so dizzy and ''out of it''. Unable to focus, and my eyes were so sore. I was actually feeling nauseated and horrible. I thought because I am diabetic, my eyes were starting to go. Optician said my eyes are very healthy but so dry, was told to use drops 4-6 times a day. I bought other brands but nothing really worked until I got these drops. I started using Siccasan gel in the morning, I still do. But I top up my eyes every 2 hours or so with these drops, and over a few weeks my eyes feel sooooo much better. But you have to KEEP using them. It's like drinking water, you keep drinking and do not wait until you are dehydrated. Every so often I have a day (like today) where my eyes are very sensitive to daylight, but with blackout curtains and these drops, I am able to look at screens again without wanting to keep my eyes closed. My mum also commented that my eyes have looked nice and sparkly lately, and I can see a difference too. Previously my eyes were so dry I could actually SEE how dry they were in the mirror. These drops are pricey and 1 bottle only lasts about 4 weeks, but they really do work and you only get mild discomfort for about 5 minutes, no blurred vision. I will continue to purchase these as they have been a miracle worker on my eyes.
