Fun vacations and day trips
NYC is a great place for a weekend trip or an entire vacation. This guide has wonderful photos, clear descriptions, and an organized set of activities. Cities like New York are going to come back strong after working age people start moving in and seniors, for health reasons, start moving to the suburbs. Also, will be great to see the United Nations restore its schedule and workforce. Museum, entertainment venues, and Greenwich Village look like fun areas. While NYC is our largest and most sophisticated city the East Coast, West Coast, and Gulf Coast cities have challenges in common. Hopefully, the mayor, governor, or legislature of NY will lead on some of these issues. Improving Amtrak is an ongoing issue, and port renovations on the Hudson River are another topic.

Just what you need to make the most of your visit!
6 day trip to NYC. Needed a concise informational guide to see the best items in NY. This better than any other that I found. Excellent compact book with subway and bus map included.

Great handy book
I bought this a few weeks before the world closed for covid. Pretty sure covid wasn't due to me buying this book but it was a mad coincidence.I spent many happy weeks indoors reading all about the places I couldn't visit.However I am now an NYC expert and found more places I hadn't thought of visiting. So when I do get my trip booked I will have a much better time than I had originally planned.It also will fit in my handbag so I can take it with me to remind me of the places I want to go, all marked on the included map.

Excellent, informative guide that you can take with you
We've read loads on line etc, but I ordered this as a little pre-holiday gift. Turns out its a great read - I've spent way more time and learned more than I did with most of the online articles. The bonus is it's a handy size so it fits easily into my wife's handbag meaning it can go with us whenever we head out of the hotel.

Useful guide.
Used this in short trip to New York. We used the separate map a lot and the New York in four days to plan our days. Needed another guide which provided more practical info as well but two guides complimented each other.

These are very useful small pocket guides with plenty of factual information
