I've been using oil cleansers for quite a few years because others soap-based ones caused my face to purge. And that's not pretty or comfortable. But although my skin was balanced with the oil-based cleansers I didn't feel my it was getting as clean or maybe getting more blackheads. So I still use Ma:anyo oil cleanser on dry skin, add a little water on top and then rub a few pumps of this right over it. And it works beautifully. It not only takes off makeup but it doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped.

This is a fantastic daily cleanser for those who are mature have dry skin, like myself especially during colder months!I am pleasantly surprised how moisturizing it is while it cleanses unnecessarily oil-based dirt etc.After a wash, my skin is balanced, and yet feels fresh and brighter.I had skipped my morning cleanser for a reason because it makes my skin too dry but I felt I still need to remove dirt on my face too, so in this purpose this is my ideal holy-grail clanging product!

This was recommended by my dermatologist, and wow was she right. this is great because it doesn’t cause breakouts and my skin does not feel stripped or “tight” after using it. my husband also steals it so that’s a bonus. I am glad that it’s fragrance-free since it is for sensitive skin. This huge bottle is gonna last us a while!

I used to be so against regular store bought face washes or anything not considered natural for skin care. I used to use African black soap often for my skin and it cleared up so much hyperpigmentation, and I stuck with it for years but I felt it only does but so much. Once the weather started changing I noticed my face and body was becoming extremely dry, flaky, itchy (common eczema symptoms) but I didn’t realize it because my eczema hasn’t flared in a LOOONG time and I thought it was because I recently used Pan Oxyl benzoyl peroxide cleanser but no I then broke out in a horrible eczema flare on my cheeks, neck, arms, shoulders, pretty much my entire torso. I’ve been using cerave for like a week and a half now and it has helped tremendously!! My flares kept calming and coming back but here is a 3 day difference after an irritated face. It was oozing and not once did my face burn, every time I washed my face it was so hydrating, and it washes off well, no residue. I’ve been using it on my body too and it’s been helping. I still have a lot of healing to do tho for sure but this is a great start. I’ll drop some pictures of the products I’ve been using with it. Dry sensitive skin girl here and I am happy with this cleanser! It was my first time ever trying cerave! The cream didn’t work for me but this cleanser is the best! I have 3 cleansers in my shower but I find myself reaching for this one more than any other!It is very gentle, provides me with a fresh and clean skin without drying it out! It doesn’t feel greasy but doesn’t feel like it’s extracting your natural oils either. It’s just lovely!It’s definitely not for cleansing makeup but can work as the second cleanser on the double cleansing routine. Meaning it can work as a follow up cleanser after the makeup removing cleanser.I find it to easily break sunscreen on my face so when I don’t have makeup on I only use it to cleanse in the evenings and it works great! I’ve only used it on the face and neck.It has no scent at all!

Good product. I use it every morning and evening, and my skin feels cleaner and looks clearer. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time.

This facial wash is less soapy so for those using might need larger amounts on skin. Overall it’s effective as a cleanser but definitely not for oily skin
