Lighting Zzar LZ- Portable LED Foldable Desk Lamp/Lantern - Study/Office/Camping -Rechargeable Solar Panel Included

This is best solar powered/USB powered desk lamp I ever owned.It took only three days to arrive after I ordered.It is very very portable for any place.I use this near my bed,but it can be use for reading,emergency,camping etc...My wife love it and she wants another one near her working table.So I'm gonna order it another one.So far there is no any problem.

I love lamps with multi-charging capabilities, this one is nice and bring and very unique in design. It has a couple brightness levels and can charge via USB or the included solar panel which makes it an excellent lamp to take camping (probably not backpacking.) I'm not sure what inspired the design or even if I fully understand it but you can hold it flat/set it on a table to illuminate or sort of split the lamp in the middle and turn it in a way to get it to stand up and illuminate the table, perhaps a book or workspace. It lasts quite awhile on a charge. My boyfriend tried the lamp and immediately started hinting about wanting it so it must be pretty good because he rarely does that.Sample provided for honest review.

I've seen a lot of rechargeable LED desk lights, but I've never seen one before with the option to charge with solar power. Not only that, but when you charge up the battery within the light, you can also charge a cell phone, or MP3 device, from the battery. That makes the Zzar light also function as a solar powered battery charger. As I write this, it's just two days before the winter solstice, the darkest, cloudiest time of year, so solar charging is pretty much out of the picture. Instead, I just plug it into my computer, for a charge. Fully charged, a light like this can either be used in a room with a south facing window, in case you want to recharge via solar power, taken on camping trips, used in rooms or cabins without electricity, or just stored in your bug out bag. In the coming post apocalyptic dystopia, a light like this could be traded for weeks worth of food.So what can I tell you about the light? Since the shape is sort of like a phone, I actually imagined that it might be the size of a phone. However, it's about 12 inches long, and around 3 and a half inches wide. 44 separate LED lights, produce around 25-30 watts of light (when measured as incandescent wattage.) So it's very bright, in fact, it lights up my whole room. The quality of the light, reminds me of a cool florescent in color. The solar panel is 5 inches square, about double the size of the solar panels, that power my outdoor motion lights. When you charge the light with solar power, it requires about 14-15 hours to fully charge the battery. (Its a big battery, since it needs to run 44 separate LEDs). Charging with the USB cable, takes 7-8 hours. The charging cable isn't permanently attached. If you want to use the solar panel, plug it into charge. The red LED turns on, when it's charging. If you want to charge with USB, use the cable provided. However, if you want to use the lamp's battery to charge a dead cell phone, plug into the USB out port, then, using one of several different adapters, chose the correct adapter for your phone, to charge it.It's pretty cool how this lamp operates. It's touch ON, touch OFF, plus you can dim the light to conserve electricity. Also, the light unfolds, so if you want to use the battery part as a base, it opens up to configure into a desk lamp with a stand. Or, if you want to hang the whole light on a pole or tree, when camping or hanging around the back yard during the summer, then just keep the lamp folded up, and hang the whole unit from a tent or tree. You get a lot of versatility with the lamp, more than any other lamp I've seen. LED Lamp, you charge via solar or USB power, with a battery pack that can zap an emergency charge into a dead cell phone. The Zzar portable desk lamp is the perfect lamp to keep around for camping, weather emergencies where you might go days without power, or just to use for an everyday desk lamp.I was provided a free product in exchange for a fair and honest review.

While it is a cool idea, it takes the solar panel about 15 hours of bright sunlight to totally recharge the light.The light contains a 4000 mAh battery to run the light without a power source giving 5 hours or so on the brightest mode on a full charge.There is a USB port to charge your devices from the internal battery which is good in an emergency but it will, of course, take power away from the light.Overall an interesting desk lamp that is quite versatile, although I'm not sure how many people need a solar panel to charge a desk lamp.Sample provided for review.
