I have to admit to a little bit of smug feeling while everyone was snatching toilet paper last year - we haven't bought any in many yrs. Anyway, I'm quite used to feeling very clean, afterwards, because of that, so I've noticed if I have to go while out of the house, I never felt as clean. I thought maybe this might be a solution.For me, it's not. The smell of it is just too strong and lasts a long time. I do not want to be reminded of my bohunkus at random times. Topping that off, it doesn't make me feel any more clean. I actually feel a little grossed out simply by application, it's just messy and not where I want to touch.It does have a bit of a soothing affect somewhat like witch hazel, that was noticeable. This is a very easy to use cleaner. Just put a small amount on toilet paper, and use it to clean the area. It works best with strong toilet paper (such as Charmin Extra Strong) but is workable even with toilet paper that tears more easily. The lotion is thick and not much is needed to get good results.This works well as either an alternative to witch hazel cleaners, or as something to supplement witch hazel. Unlike witch hazel this does not shrink inflamed tissue since it's not an astringent. But it does provide far more soothing that witch hazel alone. The combo approach provides the best of both worlds.The scent is light and pleasant, and I've had zero irritation from use, even when using it on inflamed tissue. I especially like that it is sold as just a lotion and not in combination with wipes. In addition to being more cost effective to use your own toilet paper, this avoids the problem of wipe disposal since those usually can't be flushed (or, if they can, don't flush well especially on a septic system). Using it with regular toilet paper allows for easy flush disposal.Very pleased with all aspects of this cleaner. Five stars.

As someone who is lactose intolerant, I've dealt with my fair share of anorectal irritation. You would probably like to have this stuff around. I take metformin and even though I take one 500mg, I still get diarrhea. And when you get it over and over in the course of the day, you sometimes need some relief on your bum.

After a relative contracted E coli, I'm even more careful when it comes to personal cleansing.Admittedly, I've always been a bit of a germaphobe, but when I hear of things like the above, it puts at phobia into high gear.I like this product because it's easy to use, and it isn't really messy if you use it properly.Just a touch of added security.Also would be helpful if you are a caregiver, or changing a lot of diapers.

Sometimes life gets a little rough, especially if you're having digestive issues, diarrhea, or intestinal flu. There is nothing worse than knowing you have to "wipe" when your bum is chapped and sore. I am so happy to add this to my supplies for a sore bum. This is great if you are suffering with hemorrhoids, or chapped sensitive skin. This is very soothing and turns your normal toilet paper into a soothing wipe. I like that it moisturizes and makes me feel clean.

This is a good product and it brings relief. Not too many other products out there like this. It lasts a long time too.

This is a wonderful cream for the anorectal area. It has a light and pleasant scent. Add a drop to your tissue and easily clean the area. It cleanses, and soothes irritation while it moisturizes and protects. Sanilotion can be used for wet wipes, diaper cream & more. I highly recommend this product.
