Seem like they are written by the same person
Are any of the reviews real? Seem like they are written by the same person. I bought these gloves for my daughter to use so she can start learning how to cook and help in the kitchen safely. I wanted to test them before giving to her so I used a small ceramic knife that I planned to give to her and test cut on one of the fingers, sliced right through instantly!!! They did not protect at all!

Buyer Beware
My little daughter suggested we test these gloves. My wife thought she was onto something so we put a carrot in the glove as my little suggested and cut it right through the glove with a ten year old, dull knife from Wal Mart. Returning immediately. You can see where we made it most of the way through the carrot.

Would buy again.
They fit a little snug around the wrist, so the leave an impression when I wear them, but they’re not bulky so they don’t get in my way while I’m carving my linocut. I haven’t hit them with a blade or anything so I can’t say how effective they are, but they’re knit so I would think they’re not much against stabbing but against lighter cuts they may do well to prevent cuts.

They work!
These really work! I ordered a new serrated knife for my parents (who are starting to get a bit older, so I worry about their safety), and these gloves are totally protective when it comes to slicing possibilities! Worth every little penny (because they're super cheap too!)

A great glove
Im a cook for a college and I use this everyday all day during my shift. It's a great glove and the price is good as well. It light weight and came on time.

Afraid to try
I tested these gloves by very lightly dragging a knife across a finger. Now there's a hole in the finger. Glad I wasn't overly enthusiastic about it. Returning.
