It works well. I live in a mosquito infested neighborhood. When I have company coming and the door is going to be open a lot (and the mosquitoes pour in) I put it on (front porch area where the mosquitoes congregate) and it really helps-- creates a barrier for the specified time. It cost a bit for the refills, but I found it worth the investment.

Found a unit in the dumpster bought this to try it out after determining it still worked. This is, or at least was the best buy at the time. Thermacell actually works great. Had to work on my tractor and was swarmed by hundreds of mosquitoes remembered this started it up under the center of the tractor and they disappeared. The mosquitoes were completely gone!

We learned about these in Alaska and they work wonderfully, a little on the expensive side but having no mosquitoes is worth it. I now have 5 units and don't plan on going with them ever again.

This repellent works extremely well. It's not inexpensive, but to be able to sit on my porch without getting bit, it's worth the price.

I always get eaten alive by mosquitoes. Bug traps really don’t work for them and end up killing all the beneficial insects. I also really hate bug spray. I had someone recommend this as an option and it’s been great. I turn it on about 10 minutes before I go out on the back porch and no more bites. You can even sometimes see the mosquitoes fly towards you, stop, and fly away. The only con is that it can be a bit pricey to use. I stock up whenever I see the refill kit on sale.

These work amazing! I now have 3 For different areas of my home outside a ton less bug bites!

Does not work in my standard Thermacell Machine, waste of money! Refills do appear to be the same as ones which were sent with the original machine.

Used only once I thought it would have no effect on mosquitoes. Because I woke up and my legs were all red.😅
