Brooke Bond Red Label Tea, Loose Black Tea for Chai, 1.8kg (63.49 oz)

I recently tried Brooke Bond Red Label Loose Leaf Black Tea, and it has quickly become a staple in my tea collection. Here’s why I highly recommend it: Flavor: The tea has a rich, full-bodied flavor that is both robust and smooth. It's perfect for those who enjoy a strong cup of tea without any bitterness. The aroma is inviting, and the taste is wonderfully satisfying, whether you prefer it with milk or simply on its own. Quality: The quality of the tea leaves is impressive. Each cup brews consistently well, providing a delightful experience every time. The loose leaf format allows for a more customizable brewing process, letting you control the strength of your tea. Packaging: The packaging is both practical and attractive. The bright red box with the heart logo is easy to spot in the pantry, and the packaging ensures that the tea remains fresh and aromatic. Value: Considering the quantity and quality, Brooke Bond Red Label offers great value for money. It’s a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise on taste or quality. Overall, Brooke Bond Red Label Loose Leaf Black Tea is a fantastic choice for any tea lover. Whether you’re looking for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing evening beverage, this tea delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Well I’m here to say, yes to this tea! The texture is perfect for the brew you wish to achieve. I have trouble staying awake while driving having to pull over and take a nap which is not always safe. I brew a bit different than instructions ( I use milk) and I have to say, I’m alert and awake when I consume before a driving trip! The color is dark and seems to be good quality!

Nice quality neutral black tea. I love using this for hot tea with milk or as the base for boba.

Better than Πέπσι κόλα κόλα; Brook Bond Red Label is "The Real Thing"! I'm a sweet tea drinker sometimes by a full gallon in a day. Brook Bond Red Label has become my #1 choice. I'm not a hot tea drinker but I had to give it a go, for a full review. Using the same quantity as my coffee ration, which of course is twice that of a single serving tea bag. Very bold straight up black. Much bolder than the big Red and Yellow L brand. I recommend highly for taste and greatly for value.

Good

I’ve drank this tea for over 35 years, it’s my favorite. It’s even great to mix with some other teas. If boiling in a small pot, bring it to boil and then get it off the stove. Don’t let it over boil or the taste is changed. It’s also good for many if you add the milk/ginger root to the pot before straining.

Just like most tea enthusiasts, I always make it a point to smell the tea bags. Well, I like the smell of this tea, this practice helps me ensure that the tea isn't stale. The aroma of this particular tea, both before and after brewing, is quite appealing to me. Depending on my mood, I enjoy this tea in various ways plain, or enhanced with lemon, honey, and organic sugar. I find it equally enjoyable whether served hot or cold. Moreover, it proves to be quite beneficial when I'm dealing with chest congestion.

I have been a lipton loose tea drinker for years. It's impossible to find so I bought this and its SO MUCH BETTER then lipton. No bitterness, cheaper, and Always available!

**My Go-To for Milk Tea** This Brooke Bond Red Label Tea has become my go-to for making milk tea at home. **Simple Ingredients & Great Value** What I really like is how simple the ingredient is - just pure black tea. No additives, nothing extra. The bag also lasts a long time. I usually use 1–2 teaspoons per cup, and depending on how strong I want it, I can easily make 100–200 cups, which is great value. **Healthier Homemade Option** I also like that I can make a healthier version of milk tea at home, instead of buying the sugary powdered ones from stores. **How I Make My Milk Tea** I mainly use it to make milk tea, and it turns out really good. My usual way is to boil the tea with water for about 5 minutes, then add whole milk (3.25%) and let it simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes before adding sugar. It creates a rich, comforting drink that I especially enjoy during the winter. In the summer, I just add ice, and it’s just as good. **Caffeine Warning (Important to Know)** One thing to keep in mind is that this tea is very strong in caffeine. I’m personally sensitive to caffeine, and even when I drink it in the morning, it can still affect my sleep at night. Because of that, I make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to balance it out. **Pros:** ✔️ Simple ingredient (pure black tea) ✔️ Strong, rich flavor — perfect for milk tea ✔️ Great value, lasts a long time ✔️ Easy to adjust strength depending on preference ✔️ Perfect for both hot and iced milk tea ✔️ Better alternative to sugary store-bought milk tea **Cons:** ❌ High caffeine content (not ideal if you’re sensitive) **Overall** Overall, this is a great choice if you love strong milk tea or need that extra boost to stay awake. But if you’re sensitive to caffeine like me, just be mindful of how much and when you drink it.
