I like it. It's a little heavy in the hand, but when you put it on, the weight is manageable as it's distributed over the head and shoulders. One ring came loose, so I just put it back using 2 pairs of needle-nose pliers to push the ends together. The links are not welded together, so it seems like rough handling could break more links apart, so I'm keeping the two pliers close by. I am using it with in conjunction with a mask for Halloween. Also, it seems like it the potential to snag hair, although I haven't experienced too much of an issue as I have very short hair. Maybe wear a skullcap underneath then?

Overall, I'm impressed. My son wanted this to go with a costume and we feel it's a great value for the money. It is quite heavy, telling me it would not break upon the first use. It functions as expected. It fits as expected. It's not super comfortable, but that's expected too. The only downside to any chainmail is that it must be washed to get the fabrication and shipping oil removed.

I had one loose link fall off in the bag. I wore this for about 5 hours and had no issues. I put it in a ziplock with a rust preventative vapor chip. I have a large melon and it fit me fine. The opening could be a hair bigger but was able to adjust it to work well. Will be wearing again on Halloween and maybe other conventions. I had the padded headgear, which was fine for softness, but it did not breath and was making me overheat. I was fine wearing this without it. It did not snag my hair at all. I imagine that will be hit or miss for people. For the price its very worth it. not sure if these are done by hand or a machine but It is holding together so far. I did not give durability a high mark only because I have not had it that long. It is better than anything you will get at a costume shop.

This is a great piece of chainmail it feels nice and goes well with my helmet, but the customer service is even better. there was a mishap where my package somehow accidentally got sent to the other side of the country and when I contacted the company they apologized and said they would have one to me in three days (which they did) it was very nice and sweet, I would suggest this product if you need some chainmail!

fits good, steel links' prefered, other, alloy or zinc- iron other. Item quenched - soaked in liquid hardener, cured. Should be great.
