Japanese Snack Variety Gift Boxset

I bought this variety basket for my brother's birthday, he is both a foodie and a man into anime and manga. It was a lot of fun, a bit smaller than I had hoped.. and had average candy you can pretty much find in specialty shops in the US (if you live in a major city, you can probably find a lot of this stuff in any asian food store) If you live in the middle of nowhere or a small city.. this was worth not driving to a major city to get candy. I was hoping for more traditional japanese stuff and deffinatly into the wierder flavored items that are hard to get in the states. while there was one odd little buiscut..(I wont post what incase your doing a blind test like we were) the rest was your average run of the mill asian-american candies. It was fun, the package is newspaper print, english. the candy was good, we had fun trying each thing and goofing off.. all in all I liked this!Shipping was FAST, if your ordering it for an event.. keep this in mind! I ordered early thinking it would take forever but had it arrive right away!

First off let me say I received a sample box that contained way less then what almost 30.00 can buy. The appearance of the package on the picture is not accurate at all just like a prev review ummmm nope hunny I did not receive that much of anything everything was stale and old the big ol packs of gum they are showing in the picture is nothing like what I receive I got a small pack that had 4 tiny gum balls with 4 different flavor packs i'm like ummmm this little tiny box has 4 little gum drops- received the proxy sticks which I wasn't looking forward to I can buy those at any store. I didn't get the baby star crispy noodles snack was looking forward to seeing that NOPE basically I received a sampler pAckage the whole package looks like a joke I went through it in 10 minutes that's how small it is and may I remind you there's gum and hard candy which takes time-Not for me..... Not worth it- anything that was in bigger package was something I could walk to the store and buy.... I intended to get snacks I can't find in the new state i'm living in- I didn't get much of what is in the picture at all don't waste your money

The products taste good, but I was expecting it to be a bigger amount than what I received. The picture is deceiving as far as how big the box of items actually is.

I recieved this product within a reasonable time. The candy inside was amazing, and came inside of a red sack with a draw string to tighten it. The items themselves were wrapped in jappanese newspapers. The flavors were much better with taste than american candy as an apple candy actually tasted like apples.

I love everything that comes in the "basket" but there was not basket at all, luckily I had a small basket laying around to package everything because it was a gift. All in all it was awesome! Just wish I knew that everything was going to come loose and no in a basket or anything at all.

I expected... More and things I don't normally see. A handful of these things were items found in Target and it was really disappointing. It wasn't a boxset, just a box with packages thrown in there. I really was excited to get this in and I guess opening it was more of a disappointment than anything.

I love trying new food and nothing that was pictured was in the box. I got so much more! Everything was good and fresh. It was really great. When I bought the box for $30 I thought it was a waste of money for just the stuff in the box, but when I got it, it was packed with a whole bunch of other stuff. There was seaweed, cookies, pocky, and a bunch of other little things, chocolate covered coffee beans! It was a great purchase.

I ordered this for a movie night with my husband and I was surprised by the quantity. There is quite a bit of candy and snacks and the variety is nice. I'm honestly most excited about the green tea hard candy that came with mine.Mine was triple boxed and packed with air packets so that even the thin picky and pretzel sticks in thin packaging were intact. Not a single thing even cracked.
