It works about as well as you'd expect it to work. The installation is an issue though, and the software support is barely written in English. Basically, what you have to do is this:I have a 64-bit Windows 7 PC. If these instructions don't work and you have a different system, I would just use Google.1) Plug the device into a USB port and go to your desktop.2) Right click on My Computer and hit properties.3) On the left, click on device manager.4)Now, there should be an item there named "unidentified device".4a) Just a heads-up, it wasn't there for me the first time, so I had to try a different USB port. This may happen to you as well.5) Right click on that, hit properties.6) Go to the "drivers" tab on the new window.7) Click on "update driver" there.8) Next click "Browse my computer for driver software".9) Don't actually browse anywhere, but just click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".10) From this list, you should find "Microsoft Common Controller for Window Class"11) Finally, select "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows"12) There will be a warning for something or other, but just proceed with the installation.13) It should be working now! Connect to the computer just like you would an Xbox, using the connect buttons on the controller and the device.

Absolute garbage. It worked brilliantly for the first few days, but after that, it would lose the signal every couple of minutes, and then take 30 seconds to reconnect, which is just fantastic for games that can't be paused. Made me lose 30,000 souls in Dark Souls, as if that game wasn't a bother without the controller issues. Tried with a few different drivers to fix the problem, but no success. It might work for a bit, but its definitely not worth it at all. Giving it away for free would cost too much.

I followed the instructions on here and tried some other stuff online. Spent about 2 hours trying to get it to synch and it just wouldn't work. Bought he genuine product from MSFT for $45 and all is now well. This may have worked for some folks but it was dicey for me.I was personally running Windows 8, so that may have been part of the issue.

Product was garbage and did not work. Was a cheap knockoff included drivers not recognized when an attempt was made to download the drivers from the web they were not found (Windows 8). Went with the official product which worked flawlessly.

Works excellent after downloading and installing this driver, and ONLY THIS DRIVER:[...]I was frustrated at first because the auto installed driver would not let me connect the controller to the receiver, once the right driver was downloaded it works perfect!

The product was wrapped up in the original packaging and was in excellent working condition, the only flaw was the most minor scratches on the bottom from everyday use which wasn't a problem at all. As an added bonus, the disc was scratch free and in a nice sealed plastic bag. It works exactly as described and supports up to at least two controllers, but I assume it goes up to four. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. The disc did nothing for me, so I returned to the page here and found instructions to get the drivers installed properly. The receiver works like a charm now.
