I still see cats in my garden, albeit only 2 instead of the usual neigbourhood cats. The better setting which would deter cats unfortunately keeps birds away too. I bought this because we have so many birds visiting our feeders and the cats kept chasing them. I've moved the positions but as I write, a cat is watching me, as if mocking me.Can't say much about the battery life because I've only just installed them.

Bought these to deter my neighbour's nuisance cat. When I first received them I set them on the recommended level 2. This didnt work so I upped the level to three and set the widest range. The cat still came in bothering the birds, so I upped the scarers to level four. This appears to have worked and not affected the birds as I thought it might. I do recommend this product but use on a higher level than the instructions recommendation for cats.

I read a few negative reviews but fortunately I went ahead and bought these on 3rd June 2020 . They work perfectly, I bought them to keep cats of my new car. I have a security camera 24/7 on the car and the first night the cat jumped on the car looked at the device and jumped off and ran away. it's now been 8 weeks and no cats. I feel guilty because they're now on my neighbours car. Just keep the solar panel clean and give them a good charge during the first 2/3 days and then once a week a top up charge and you will have no problems.

I've had a problem for years with cats coming onto my garden and doing their business and it's very annoying, especially when my dog gets very frustrated about the smell of cats, even though she was bought into the world in a house with cats. So I invested in these and you can set it to whichever setting you prefer, as there's a choice of 5, and 5 animal settings. Although it's a bind sometimes trying to remember to bring them in to charge when there is little or no sunlight this time of year, they do work and work well. They also keep my dog off the garden, which is a bonus!!

These covert machines are outstanding because amazing build quality, easy of use, solar panel charging, they have protected beautiful nesting birds in our bushes from Evil Cats. I have one in the front and rear of my gardens. They really work, as we have no Cats come near the areas the birds and newborn baby chicks, so they are a God send. I cannot express how I highly recommended them to you. Protect beautiful birds and wildlife with these amazing machines. They do not interfere with your dogs or any other animals unless you turn it on to that specific mode, of which there are 5 to choose from. They are mega easy to use, a chimp could set them up. No tools or batteries needed, as they charge themselves by the solar panels on top. They come in green so they blend into your garden without being seen at all.

Not at all happy batteries ran down in a week even with good sunshine , voltmeter on battery terminals shows no increase in voltage when subjected to solar light , I dont think solar cells are working , will investigate more as I am an electrical engineer and send more feedback , but up to now wouldn't recomend

Bought a pair of these to repel cats. As per my photo (repeller in top right, cat sh it bottom left) and from pointing directly at a cat, they have little to no effect. They make a sound and the motion sensitivity works great, drive me nuts flicking on and off everytime I walk across the garden, but has little impact on cats. Literally pointed it directly at a cat and it just looked. They were set as per instructions setting number 2.

Brilliant. It has given me peace of mind, as I don't have to keep worrying about having to go cleaning up after the cats. It's advisable to have more than one for the garden, as the cats tried hiding behind the bushes to escape from the senser, and now I've got all angles covered as I used two for the front garden and 2 for the back garden. Worth every penny
