To me it's also a healthy recipe book. - Please, please do not assume this book is only for people with anti-inflammatory issues!! It is not just for them! I considerate it to be a book for people that want to have or learn how to eat healthy as well. It has lots of good interesting recipes. Yes this book will help people with anti-inflammatory issues. The recipes included are to help them with inflammation and food sensitivities. This book includes recipes with the right foods to help with these issues. At first I was like ok the title is interesting, but really wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great recipes included. They are recipes I would definitely make and eat. I have been very fatigued lately so I will be making some of the smoothie recipes and hoping it gives me some energy back. This book is a nice one, there are only a few pics in it, but it is packed with lots of recipes. That fine with me I'd rather have more recipes than pics. The book is well written and easy to understand. The recipes are pretty much easy to follow. What I love is the book also includes a Vegan, paleo, mediteranean and a time saving action plan. Each one includes a four week menu. The menu includes breakfast lunch and dinner for the four weeks. It doesn't get any easier than this, they have included the menus for you to follow. Definitely consider this book, the only recipes I doubt I will make are the lamb ones, but there are only like two recipes for that. Hera are a few I want to try soon! Salmon baked with leeks and fennel, chicken lettuce wraps, chocolate-avocado mousse with sea salt, tumeric chicken salad, and mango salsa. Those were just a few, but there are lots of others I am willing to make. Please just do not let the title deter you from trying this book. I consider it for everyone, not just for people who have inflammatory issues. It's a good book packed with recipes. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest unbiased review. This review is based on my own opinion and views on the book. I am keeping this one on the shelf. Review: Easy Executable Meal Plans For A Healthier Lifestyle - This book provides you with basic information concerning inflammation and how what you eat can have an impact on how your body feels. Once the author provides a background and educates you on foods that can be causing inflammation it then focuses on different meal plans called action plans that are 28 days long. The four plans outlined are the Vegan action plan, Mediterranean action plan, Paleo action plan, and the time-saving action plan. Each plan is described briefly providing information on what to avoid and rules and principles to follow. Also included are benefits and possible challenges. The authors provide tips on how you can make the plans work for you. Next they tell you what kitchen tools are necessary to have on hand in order to utilize the recipes they provide. Finally they provide you with the recipes to implement for the plans. The authors do address allergy concerns in the book and with each plan they advise of substitutions when a possible allergen exists. The format of the book is very simple and easy to follow along. What I loved most about this book is that it provided information on foods that can cause inflammation and foods that can help you to avoid inflammation. I liked that the recipes are basic and very easy to follow. Though this mainly focuses on inflammation it is a book that is good for anyone who is interested in eating healthier and need some inspiration in order to implement it. **I received this product free in exchange for my honest unbiased review. Easy to follow recipes and informative
I purchased this recipe book at the recommendation of a friend who has lyme's disease. She uses it for that purpose. I wanted to try it out because I had several health issues as an athlete (plantar fasciitis, soreness and inflammation) and some minor tummy issues that affected me enough to want to try working on my diet to alleviate issues. The book has plenty of great recipes and a variety of approaches (vegan, paleo, etc.) based on your personal needs. The discussion at the beginning of the book was informative and helpful. I loved many of the recipes. There were easy to prepare and didn't require a ton of preparation. The only thing I was missing or would recommend is a "grocery" list at the end of the book. They did a great job of creating a meal plan before you get to the recipes, but it would be so much more helpful to have a grocery list that you could snap a picture of with all of the things you'd need for that meal plan for the week. Recommended otherwise.

Delicious, easy, and time saving recipes.
I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and am determined to get on track with anti-inflammatory foods. That is no small feat for me and my family. I was admittedly skeptical purchasing this but much to my surprise these were delicious recipes. They require minimal prep and my family enjoyed them all. My daughter now loves "smoothie Sunday." I love that there are also vegan and keto meal plan options. A standout recipe was the mushroom risotto. I've tried much more complicated recipes from more sophisticated cookbooks and they never turned out. This was simple and straightforward and a delicious risotto. There is also a salmon gremolata that takes like something you would order at a nice restaurant. We even use the gremolata recipe for other meals now. Very happy with this and how it's helped us move forward on our health goals.

Not for you if you are looking for easy recipes and meal plans for one or two
This book is full of great information and great recipes. The fault I find with the book is in the Action Plans (weekly meal plans) and the recipes themselves. I started with The Time Saving Action Plan and I didn't find that it saved me time at all. The author assumes the reader is familiar with all ingredients. The meal plan for week 1 repeats a couple of meals and it offers a lot of variety. Unfortunately, with someone looking to save time and not spend a lot of time in the kitchen, this means either a ton of prepping or a ton of time for each meal. Even the smoothies seemed time consuming and very little repeat of ingredients which means buying a lot of produce. As a single person (or the sole person utilizing this "diet"), I had to stop cooking mid-week because all of the meals that I've used thus far make 4-6 servings. I have way to much food for one person and not enough freezer space. Additionally, I felt like the recipes lacked guidance. I realize the book doesn't indicate that it's for beginners, but I would imagine many people seeking this sort of book are new to this. One smoothie recipe calls for half of a fennel bulb. Some tips on how to cut and clean fennel would be great plus guidance on cutting it into chunks especially if you do not have a high powered blender would also be welcomed. Another receipe calls for white beans. Ok...navy beans? Northern beans? Cannellini beans? Or does it not matter? Also, the soup recipes for the week suggested using the slow cooker. Unless you have multiple slow cookers, you cannot meal prep in advance. Well, you could if you did one in the morning and one in the afternoon, I suppose. The recipe does not give alternate directions/options for stove-top cooking. If you are a seasoned cook, you might be able to figure this out. But I just didn't find it user friendly. Another recipe calls for 1 (4-inch) piece lemongrass (white part only), bruised with the back of a knife. Now I've worked with a lot of different ingredients, but never lemongrass. There would need to be a lot of googling to aid me in the purchase, cutting, cleaning, and bruising of this ingredient. This just adds time to the preparation process. I find this frustrating. While I find this book a good reference, I don't foresee myself using it and will, instead, be in search of something a little easier to use.

Excellent reference
I keep coming back to this book for recipes, as I know each one is reliable. I've read the reviews of fewer stars, and perhaps I like it so much because I'm an experienced cook: I always understood how/why/what of the recipes. I find them simple. And, personally, I love the meal plans because I don't get decision fatigue! One less thing I have to plan and make decisions about. I can't say that I feel better because this is basically how I've been eating for years, but their information at the beginning of the book is vital, concise and clear for people just starting out on the anti-inflammatory journey (which we should all be doing for our joints, skin, heart and brain health).

Not Suitable for Indian Cooking / Diet Plan
This book is not meant for Indian Cooking. Most of the ingredients mentioned are either hard to find or not used in common Indian Cooking.

Awesome book
I love this book. It has a diet and action plan. I bought this as well as The Complete Anti-Inflammatory Diet for Beginners. These two make a perfect pair to own. The recipes are easy to follow and delicious.
