Check Sizing
Good, comfortable shoe however sizing is smaller than we typically experience. I ultimately purchased one size larger than my normal size and I think it is going to work great.

Comfortable snug fit!!!
I ware size U.S 9.5 and Ordered size U.S 10/EU 43 and they fir perfectly! The shoes are a really comfortable and light with a snug fit. No heel lift at all ever!! Traction is really good! Being a low cut ankle support is low but ankle movement is outstanding especially up and down steep inclines! The Gor-tex is perfect for keeping feet dry through wet grass and shallow puddles!!! I use these for trail walking and light day hikes.

Issues with Heel
I purchased these shoes in hopes to utilize them for a R2R2R run in October at the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, after using them for 5 training runs (runs over 15 miles) over a month and a half, I have to ditch them because the return period has run out. These shoes fit all my needs except the heel of the shoes are extremely high and have caused a problem with my Achilles. I love the rock plate, waterproof material, and cushion, but the heel is just to high and has caused a serious bump with pain. I recommend you try these shoes on before you buy as you might have this same problem and be out over $100! I would greatly appreciate if the seller would issue me a refund to correct this problem. :)

Wildcats get the job done!
This was a purchase for my son who specifically requested the La Sportiva Wildcats for work. I was glad to see the multiple high marks and stars this shoe received. They look comfy, secure, and stylishly utilitarian for use on the job. Apparently, they are great alternative to boots in the industry he works in and are very well made shoes. If my son is happy (and he is) then I’m happy for him too! I like the Wildcats!

A good compromise
This is my first pair from this brand. I switched from the Brooks Ghost GTX. I ordered a half size point larger, based on other reviews, and size 11 fits me very well. I wore size 11 of the Brooks as well, but most of my other shoes are 10.5.This is a great shoe. I just took them out on a 9 mile trail run, out of the box, and they performed very well. No pressure points, blisters, or other issues. The shoes provide good support and traction. I recommend them for light to medium trails. The La Sportiva Wildcat is between the Brooks Ghost GTX and the Salomon XA Prod 3D GTX in ruggedness and will be great for my daily runs through the woods. For snow and ice and on snow shoes I will continue to use Salomon.Trail running shoes are always a compromise between speed and traction/support. If they err on one side, I like it to be on the side of comfort and light weight. The sole is relatively stiff, as expected for a trail shoe, but the Wildcat feels bouncy and light.A hint: check the prices on other sites. I overpaid.

Love these shoes. They fit my feet perfectly.
The angle of the soles on these shoes creates an arch naturally in my feet. I love them. This is my 4th pair.

These shoes are fantastic. I run trails in South Mountain park in ...
This is the 3rd pair i have purchased. I also just purchased a pair for my wife. These shoes are fantastic. I run trails in South Mountain park in Phoenix AZ, run on the golf course near my home, and play golf a few times a week. These shoes excel in all three environments. They are incredibly sticky, and I have never slipped coming down a trail in these shoes. Additionally, before i wore my first pair of La Sportiva shoes on the rocky trails in Phoenix, i always needed to pull an extra pair of inner soles in my hiking boots, and still returned home on many days with what felt like a weird massage at the bottom of my feet. With La Sportiva shoes, I have never had to use any additional innersoles.

Too Small, Stiff, Uncomfortable
I have worn LaSportiva hiking and trail shoes for over ten years. Several different models. All with comfort and great waterproof performance (GoreTex) -- except for this pair. I thought it might be because it needed a longer break-in period, or different socks, or different terrain. These shoes are too small, and I ordered the same size I have used in all previous LaSportiva products. Now, given that I have exceeded the 30-day return period, I cannot get credit for the $155 I shelled out. Well you have screwed me as a customer, and I shall NEVER buy LaSportiva footwear again. I guess someone at Goodwill with smaller feet will see if these work for them.
