The belt broke in two days. Can I get just the belt?

The hook looks very thin, is it easy to break?

The hook is a bit thin but it didn’t break. On ours the elastic rope came out of the hook while my son was swimming and snapped back and hit my wife on the leg. Both hooks came out at different times so we ended up just tying one end around the belt and the other around a post. With some tools I might be able to put back together but I won’t trust it.

Is it good for a 7 and 9 years old?

If the 7 and 9 year olds are good swimmers. This would be appropriate for a young swimmer on a swim team wanting to practice outside of a lap pool. It’s not a life saving device so it’s not safe for beginner swimmers without assistance.

Which size should I order?

It has an adjustable belt that goes around your waist. And the length of the rubber tubing is also adjustable. I really like mine. I can swim and turn over and do leg kicks. It's great if you don't have a place to swim.✌️
