Better than expected
I wasn't really sure if I should get it or not. It doesn't go under the hood, it's taped onto the top so it didn't seem secure. But, once I installed it I realized it is very stable. The wiring was easy and it's a good, solid material. It actually works well as a big deflector too. If you want to add a little appeal to your looks this is definitely worth the money. I really like it

Easy to install and work great
Looks great and was very easy to install. I went to You Tube for instructions on how to install. The QR code directed me to the catalog and a place to sign up for more deals. Never did find the instructions.

Very much recommend
The media could not be loaded. This hood visor is very well made. It fits on the hood perfectly on my 2018 Ram 2500. A very straightforward install. The “hardest” part was finding a good way to run the wires for the lights. I split the wires. I put the ground on the ground on of my battery then ran the red to my fuse box. I use a fuse tap and use the fuse “F79-clearance lights”. Works like a charm. Total time maybe an hr if you have every you need right there

Great fit, quality deflector, poor hardware
I purchased the AVS Bugflector II for the Ram 2500. I knew that the bugshield would need to be long to cover the wide hood on the 2500, but the factory box it ships in is overkill. It's HUGE. The box is at least 6' long, and probably 10" x 10" wide on each side. I expected it to be more of a long tube, but it's not.Either way, I removed the Bugflector from the box along with the hardware package. The "hardware" consists of 2 metals clips with screws, and 4 plastic screws with 4 plastic anchors. The instructions for the Ram 2500 require you to remove the rubber weather-stripping under the lip of the hood before installing the Bugflector. The 2 metal clips are then attached to the Bugflector, and using 3M clear tape to protect the hood, you position the Bugflector while the metal clips hold it where you place it.There are 4 existing holes under the hood of the Ram, and you insert the plastic anchors and screws into these holes. You are supposed to "screw" the screws into the anchors, but if you push to hard they will just seat all the way in without screwing them in. That doesn't give me much confidence as to their long-term durability; I'm not sure why they wouldn't just pop back out if the plastic threads aren't really holding. At least for the installation however they seem to be holding. I've had it out on the interstate a few times with no issues, so we'll see how the plastic hardware holds up long term. Otherwise the Bugflector II does not touch the paint of the Ram 2500 other than the 2 metal clips on the edges. The Bugflector II itself looks good and fits the contours of the truck perfectly. I expect it to last as long as you'd need it to.

Easy to install.
This is the second unit I've bought for my truck. About 2 months ago, a passing truck kicked up a rock and it hit the bug shield, which cracked, and then later broke into a few pieces. I'm not complaining as I saw the rock come up from the other truck's tire. If that rock would have hit the windshield, I would have been replacing the windshield. The original bug shield did what it was supposed to do - it protected the front of the and the windshield. Of course it was a lucky break that the rock hit the shield instead of the top of the hood or the windshield, but in this case had I not had the bug shield, that rock would have cracked the top of my grill or the front of the hood would have been dented. With my new replacement shield, my truck looks much better again. :)

Damaged in shipping
I like the product but after installing and removing the plastic film I noticed it was cracked close to the end on the passenger side. I may be willing to keep it if the seller will discount it substantially.

Excellent fit and look.
I love the fit and look of this product. The adhesion is excellent and the fit was near perfect. The only complaint I have is the packaging and shipping. They lost my initial order somewhere and it had to be reordered. The box that it came in was basically destroyed. (Obviously, that is the shipper's fault), but the hood protector had basically no protection inside the box other than a plastic coating on the chrome. It was loose in the box and I am amazed it did not get broken. All that being said, I do really love the product's look and fit and would purchase it again.

Didn't fit my 2019 ram as it said it would. That's why 4 star, everything else was awesome. They took it back and paid all shipping. That i believe is awesome service, they owned their mistake no problem.
