This is a great mat for the price, it is actually very thick and really soft. There are two sides of the mat, one side is rigged and the other side is smooth. Even though I wanted to buy this mat for exercise, I ended sitting on the mat or maybe nap on it most of the time. It is surprisingly nice to nap on it. The straps are also nice. I would suggest this for your home since it is a bit bulky to bring to a yoga studio and it can be difficult to carry around. Oh, one last thing, I also use it as a floor mat next to my bed. It is truly versatile.

I bought this in the fall of 2022, as I transitioned from working out in a gym to building my own gym at home, and I am impressed with this mat. To begin with, it is long, and I can lie down fully stretched (I'm 5'8) and there's still a good length of mat left over. The mat is thick and very cushioning, and actually has helped me to engage in ever-more challenging calisthenic exercises, as all that padding makes it a little less painful on my hands and fingers. The price was definitely one of the salient qualities. Over the last 10 months, the mat has not deformed nor lost it's softness. The only downside that I have found is the somewhat funky smell, which I stop noticing pretty quickly after I get going with my workouts. Should you get it, from my own experience, you would not go wrong with it.

This would definitely be an awesome yoga mat, and the knee pad is a bonus! I gave it 4 stars because I would say the mat would be PERFECT for yoga, but not so good for high intensity exercise like HIIT. I would think it would work well for aerobics, but not any type of exercise that requires jumping, mountain climbers, burpees, etc. It is very thick and comfortable but keep in mind it can slip if you are using it on a hardwood floor. I bought mine to use for HIIT workouts with my Fitbit and after the first use my mat developed a split in it and it’s worn in certain places (I would say it will tear with the next use with a HIIT workout). It really is a very good mat and it’s nice that it comes with the strap and the extra knee pad. Also note that it does stretch, which is the reason I believe mine developed the split. I have tried other mats before that are so thin my bones could feel the hard floor, but not this mat, so if you don’t need it for high intensity, it’s great! Also, I ordered the black mat (because the other colors were out of stock) and mine was here in 3 days. I’m going to keep mine to use for yoga, and the fact that it’s very long compared to other mats is very beneficial for someone like me at 5’9!

I purchased a BalanceFrom exercise mat about five months ago that included 2 yoga blocks, 2 different sized yoga towels, the exercise mat, knee pad, and strap that holds the rolled up mat. Great price for all of that included. I got it and use it for basic stretching and simple workouts where you are mostly on the floor (I have not done high-intensity workouts on it). I have never worn shoes on it, only socks or bare feet. Have never noticed any strange chemical smell from it. No rips or tears in it thus far. I’m probably relatively gentle with it. This mat ended up staying at my boyfriend’s house (because I am there half the time) so a month ago I purchased the same mat from this BalanceFrom brand to keep at home (this time the one that comes with just mat and kneepad). No carpet in either of our homes and I find this mat (these mats) perfectly comfortable for stretching atop hardwood and concrete floors, even without the knee pad. I’m about 115 lbs. The knee pad adds a great extra cushion though for certain stretches and is also like a nice more travel-friendly mini-mat that I have packed in a suitcase before. Works for quick stretches where, say, only your hands touch floor or ab workout where only your butt touches floor. I store the longest mat rolled up with the floor side facing out, sometimes use the velcro strap but not always needed if just standing or setting it in my bedroom rolled up. No problems flattening out when I go to use it. I really have no complaints about this mat, it continues to serve the purpose extremely well, so well that I purchased another one obviously. Great value.

I purchased this for my husband to start working out with me. Apparently, during this quarantine, everyone is trying to buy black yoga mats! I am glad I found this for a good price. First thing I noticed how soft it was. Like super super soft! This is gonna be great considering he was working out on the hardwood floor with a towel. The mat itself is about 1/2 inch thick which is thicker than the old mat I got from Amazon. It also came with a little knee pad mat? I think that's what it is. It's always nice to have a little bonus with your purchase. The mat also comes with a 2-year warranty, which is nice. I do plan to just take care of it and use it at home, so hopefully, I won't have to redeem that. I am super happy with this purchase, especially sometimes you aren't sure if you are getting a thick mat buying online. Also one last thing that I thought was really nice. The straps that hold the mat have velcro. My old mat, I have to loop the straps over twice to hold it together, if that makes sense. This makes it a lot easier to store and put it away.

I waited until I had time to try out the yoga mat for 2 weeks. I bought it for $27 and so far it has been worth it. First impressions: I am very impressed with this mat. It is thick, as advertised and is very easy to carry around with the velco carrying strap. Due to COVID-19, I have only really moved it from room to room but I can see this being convenient if I need to take this to travel or go from place to place. After 2 weeks: After using the yoga mat, I appreciate the little mat/pad as well as the yoga mat itself. I love the little pad, perfect for when I am kneeling. I use it when I am cleaning and have to clean the oven so my knees don't go to the hill while I scrub the oven or do handwash in the tub. The thickness had held up. I was afraid it would go flat but it is very comfortable when I do exercises on the floor. I don't do yoga, but I do work out and my room has become my gym so this has been helping me lose that "covid-15" I gained from quarantine. Both mats are also very easy to clean, just wipe down with a disinfectant wipe. I do this daily.

In my crazy vast search for the ideal workout mat, I prioritize thickness and comfort, and this mat checks all the boxes. Despite being a bit bulkier than standard yoga mats, it provides excellent comfort during workouts and shields me from the hard ground, ensuring I no longer experience back pain during sit-ups. Initially, there was some confusion when I thought the mat came with a small back rolling cylinder, but it turned out to be a foldable, shorter version of the mat. Despite the initial mix-up, it functions well and I find it convenient. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase and would still recommend to friends and family.

I thought the smaller object was a roller. It turned out to be knee rest. The material is amazing, and I love the fact it comes with strapping mechanism to hold it all together. Minimal, and does the job.
