The best and most convenient way to sprout tiny seeds. SO affordable, dishwasher safe, and BPA free!I've got my tiny kale seeds sprouting now, and I didn't lose a single one while rinsing with these mesh screens. They're perfect! Now I'll have plenty of nutrition-packed superfoods to add to my salads, soups, sandwiches, omelettes, cottage cheese, and burritos.(2 months later) Still loving these screens! I am so glad they came in a pack of 5, because all my friends want to 'borrow' them. I wash them in the silverware compartment of the dishwasher and they are still holding up like brand new. There are some discolorations/stains but that is a natural result from the kale and broccoli seeds, and not a product defect. These are undoubtedly the *BEST* way to sprout broccoli, kale, mustard, radish, millet, quinoa, alfalfa, fenugreek, and all the other super tiny seeds I love!Just a fun fyi- they also fit perfectly into those magnetic spice jars from IKEA.

These screens are just perfect for my sprouting ventures
These screens are just perfect for my sprouting ventures. I was happy to replace the cheesecloth with these in order to avoid the sopping wet excess cloth in the bowl in which I place the upside down mason jar for draining. When using the screen for the first time, it tends to resist water, and you might think you need to remove the jar lid to rinse your seeds, but this is just a temporary issue until the screen has been used once. Love these!

Durable; tips from the seller were very helpful.
The screens are durable; I have washed a couple of them 5 times now, with no noticeable damage. They fit well inside wide-mouth canning rings. The seed packet included is small, but produced a full quart jar of sprouts, with little seed waste. The alfalfa roots tend to get caught in the mesh, but it does not seem to affect sprout growth. The instructions for sprouting sent by the seller were very helpful and practical. A good buy.

It's wonderful when someone really cares about their product
These are adorable and perfectly fit the wide-mouth mason jars I'm using for sprouting. They're made from a stiff, white mesh that appears it will be rust-proof. Yay. They arrived in a funky, cool little metal box, along with instructions and a packet of alfalfa seeds. Very pleased and highly recommended.

The screens are very fine, work well for small seeds. They fit right in the wide mouth ring perfectly, it says they can be trimmed for regular mouth jars but I haven't tried that. They are also very easy to clean and easier to use than cheese cloth.

These are the cheapest lids you will find for the purposes of draining your sprout jars. The others are like $7/each. They also don't rust because they're made out of some nylon type stuff. And the mesh is fine enough that seeds don't fall through. Overall, very good price and the alfafa sprouts that came with it sprouted wonderfully. Very high germination rate.
