first of all the unit only has 1 led ...which is the current gen of leds....takes less battery and last longer....also the switch is gone it was casusing problems..so it was removed...dont know why you would want a switch anyway......I spoke to a the company LWO very nice and helpful....She indicated that she would see if the discription can be updated....I installed them today...they look very nice.....and no they are not high beams lights...mostly for looks with a little light ....and no I dont think they will last all night......The very nice lady indicated that the batterys last about a year and a half....due to the constant charging...I will upgrade the batt when that happens...to enloop batterys which is rated for 1500 recharging cycle....

This is a very disappointing product. The light marks the corners of the gate but sheds no light on the ground. I had hoped that it would provide enough light to guide a person walking to/through the gate. The solar panel may be inadequate or the battery might not have enough capacity but, either way, it does not serve to light a path at all.

I have tried to contact Woodway Products regarding the power of the lighting on the solar lights I have fitted. After working for a week, the light emitted is very poor and nothing like it was in the first few day. The Woodway website gives no contact telephone number, so I sent them an email with my query about the efficiency of the batteries. After a week there is still no reply. So beware, if you buy a Woodway product and something goes wrong, do not expect any after sales sales service, not even the courtesy of a reply from them.

Great looking unit, the LED lighting is just bright enough to see around our otherwise dark back yard, with regards to ascending/descending the stairs of the deck. We used these on the 6" posts on either side of the two stairwells. A neighbor of ours uses the same units on either side of the gate to their fence, looks great. ONE shortfall, we had to replace one of the batteries shortly after purchase and six months later, another battery. I have read other reviews with the same complaint...so possibly the company could increase the price a couple dollars and provide a higher quality battery with it?

From the description one would think these were really bright during the night; however, even though I have them on a southern exposure with plenty of solar charge during the day, a few hours after dark they are barely visible. They're good looking and I needed them more for the cap effect than then light so I'm not returning them.

These light were a nice finishing touch for my new fence. They don't provide a lot of light, but do make a nice decorative in the dark, and look good in the day.These have been up for about months now and so far they seem to be doing well considering the winter we've had.

I purchased 8 of these lights a couple of months ago. was a bit hesitant about solar lights because they have a history of not working, but these lights have shone brightly night in and night out for every night so far. I would highly recommend this product when shopping for solar lightsR Yates,Texas
