I had to modify a bit as It seems I have an older aim point, product is perfect. the notch in center had to ground down

Very confused about this product. It's solid, seems well built, and is machined perfectly to fit the Aimpoint Micros. The problem? It will literally not fit ANY picatinny rail that I have tried it on. It will not fit on standard 1913 rails (ar-15), nor will it fit on any bolt on rails (XS scout mount, magpul rails, etc.) The problem is that the quick release lever will not close all of the way once the mount is positioned on the rail. It seems as if there is too much metal in the way on the moving rail clamp.I am extremely unhappy with the purchase and would like my money back.

I have two of these mounts and they fit on my AK rails and my AR-15 rails just fine. If you have an out of spec rail, then no mil-spec mount is going to fit properly. Great lock up and release. Rock solid.

To be fair I have other ARMS mounts and they are great, so when I needed a mount for my new aimpoint they were at the top of my list. The item seemed of good quality when it arrived and installed easily. However the following day I took my rifle out of the safe and the aimpoint was gone. I saw it in the bottom of the safe and the throw lever was broken in two pieces. Needless to say I was very upset and I contacted ARMS for repair.

Would also like to add my 2 cents. I have this mount for my Micro H1 and it does not fit a few of my firearms. Fits my M4 just fine though. Will not fin on mt Browning URX Contour and my FN SLP Mk1 Weaver rail

This mount is best quality. You get what you pay for and it is worth it.
