Smart Baking Company Smartmuf'n, Gluten-free, Sugar-free Keto Snack Breakfast Muffin (Apple Cinnamon, 3 Boxes)

These are excellent, worth trying if you are keto or just want a lower calorie muffin that is still delicious. If I compare it to a standard muffin it is a little drier than a standard, but I'm not going to knock off any stars because I'm rating this for what it is, not what it isn't. They're totally worth picking up to try.

I’m a formerly obese person turned bodybuilder. I now count calories and macros to maintain a healthy weight and I bought a 3 flavor pack of these on a whim because the macros looked appealing. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. But, these muffins delivered! I would be hard-pressed to find something this hefty and filling for the calories. I eat 2 of these for breakfast sometimes (at about 100 calories each) instead of a protein shake or bar. I think they’d be a little harder to work into a competition prep diet (higher carb, lower protein than most shakes or bars), but if you are just watching your calories/cutting weight these are an awesome treat! I think the taste is fantastic. They are a good size, sweet, and really filling. They do taste a little bit like fake sugar, but it doesn’t bother me. I think the flavor is best on the banana option and it has a little nutty crust which is amazing. I’m sitting here right now after eating 2 and I’m in a happy food coma. Would definitely recommend. ❤️

Taste is excellent. Shipping and condition of product was excellent. I didn’t give 5 stars because of the gut demolishing amount of fiber in the muffins. Hopefully one day they may be able to come up with a recipe that won’t make you regret eating a whole muffin. Tastes good though.

These are no different in moistness and decadence then what u get @ a good coffee house or bakery . 🤯I tried these after using their smart cakes . These arent THAT much bigger but about 3x more calories and funnily they need to be frozen the pckg says ...so be aware of that . I fid not freeze mine as i didnt bother to look after having smart cakes ( which do not) and they seemed fine but it explicitly says keep in freezer so 🤷‍♂️If u absolutely miss having coffee house muffins definitely will satisfy anyones cravings who r on keto or diabetic(?)But tbh for price and freezer thing ....the smart cakes are good enough for my needs . The only flavor i tried thst i felt i would reorder and did was the choc chip ones . Those are WOW. The banana nut is good, the others to me , just tasted like the smart cakes , only pricier on an already pricey item ....and mote calories and freezer need.More of a gimmick to sell for more on those imo.Ok hope this helps ✌🏻

I'm very disappointed in these muffins. I've been buying the Smart Buns sesame hamburger buns for almost a year, and really like those -- they make it possible to enjoy a veggie burger by adding only one WW point to my daily allotment, unlike most other gluten free buns. There are times when I really yearn for a low-carb, gluten free, low-point breakfast sweet, so I had high hopes. Sadly, these have an off taste and a chemical aftertaste that is lingering. The first bite or two is pleasantly sweet, particularly the banana nut muffin, but it doesn't take long for that chemical hit to set in. I was hoping to be able to toast these, but because of the loose toppings, they don't work in a toaster -- we no longer have a toaster oven, which would probably be perfect. So, to help overcome the off taste, I put them in our convection oven for a few minutes to thaw and then toast, which does help, and smear them with a bit of Smart Balance. Doing that definitely is an improvement. There is nothing cheap about these muffins, so I really wanted to like them, but I may end up giving them away because of the taste. Sad face emoji.

So awesomely delicious and definitely Keto, that I had to review these. Admittedly, I’m one of those people that don’t usually answer Amazon questions sent to me (occasionally I do) and I definitely do not log on for the intended purpose of writing a review. This is an exception. It’s unbelievable the the Smart Baking Company managed to squeeze in all the “do’s and do nots” of Keto, have it. Be so large and filling, sweet and delicious for 99 calories. I don’t know how they did it but I’ll buy again. The average price point of all things Keto is astronomical so if you look at it that way, these are not out of line in relation to price point. And these are actually worth it.

Bought these after seeing several peoples reviews and decided to try. Upon opening the muffin package the smell was great and the first bite was delightful. By the time I got to the third bite It wasn't nearly as good. By the sixth bite I could hardly stand the taste. I ended up throwing the rest of the muffin away. A few days later I tried it once more and ended up throwing the rest of the muffins away due to not being able to return this food item. In total I purchased 12 muffins and they all were thrown away huge waste of money!

These muffins are delicious and come in several flavors. They are moist and leave no aftertaste.
