50pcs Cable Ties Reusable Fastening Wire Organizer Cord Rope Holder 7 Inch (Black)

Purchased these in preparation for a removal of an old computer system for a new one being installed. After a couple of years with the old system the back of my desk was overrun with wires and cables from the endless attached speakers, cable TV, modems, USB hubs, backup drives,external cd/DVDs writers and the list goes on. Being handicapped it's impossible to get down below the desktop to maintain the mess. The work was being performed by a local computer service company and I wanted to avoid the mess of wires hanging everywhere. Once the old equipment was removed which because of the wire mess took longer than it should have the new equipment was unboxed and a layout designed. Once all was set in place the connections were made using the Velcro straps. The technician did an excellent job and soon everything was hooked up and tested. Then the technician disappeared under the desk with the Velcro straps and a flash light. When he came out the back of the computer desk looked empty. He managed to wrap all the wires and cables with the straps and somehow everything was concealed. Now the only wires showing are the leads from the monitor and one from the web camera. Behind the external hard drive and a Blue Ray disk reader/writer is a 10 port USB 3 hub as I'm unable to reach the back of the computer. These both require a USB connection as well as power cords. Those too have been concealed using the Velcro straps. The technician was so impressed with these straps I gave him a handful so he could clean up his system at home and the shops computers. I recommend these Velcro straps to anyone looking to do some basic and advanced wire management. The technician stated with a later follow up call that his company ordered some for wire management inside the custom built computers they make. An excellent product I'm glad I found. This product was reviewed without any financial considerations. The purchase was made at full Amazon retail.

My garage and under my computer desk were a nightmare. Cables everywhere, so I bought a variety of cable ties to solve the problem. After trying them all, I found these the least expensive and easiest to use and store. They stick to themselves, so you don't have ties everywhere. I just hold one end on the cables and wrap them around until they stick to themselves. Done. And they are so inexpensive, I stick them in various home areas, so they are available when I need them. They are the clear winner in the cable tie department.

These are rather versatile cable ties / fasteners. I ordered these with the intent of organizing computer cables, but with how many that came in the box (50), I used some on loose guitar cables, as well as indoor, and even shorter outdoor extension chords. These would also work around the house for things such as makeshift curtain tiebacks. The Velcro secures well, and so far haven't any issue with it securing. Overall, these are very useful if you're looking to organize, especially cables as they can clutter as they add up.

If you want to neaten up some lightweight cords for 12 cents a wrap, and you have a favorite color that isn't black, you should be pretty happy with these If you want blaze orange, then their watered down artificial orange juice color will be disappointing. If you have a purpose that needs to be strong and safe, I wouldn't trust these with anything. It resembles Velcro, but the loops look like a sprayed on film and the hooks just look scraggly. The backing is paper thin. I can't rip it with my hands, but it looks like I just permanently deformed one of them by trying. You know that Velcro sound. This is disappointingly different.

These simple strips are one of my favorite, definitely most useful, efficient, and cost effective Amazon/online purchases, probably ever; and that's saying a lot, because I buy everything online. (I HATE to go shopping) I used them for their intended use the day they arrived to quickly and easily clean up the cable and electrical cord mess that seems to grow exponentially. As I was leaving on a 2- week trip, I stuck a dozen in my pocket - glad I did. They are they best little travel companions, don't trigger TSA alarms, and offer amazing solutions to many travel issues, from their intended use of keeping my electronic gear neat and organized, securing my tent LED light to a lamp in a dimly lit hotel room so I could actually see to work, holding my broken glasses together so I could read the departure board for my connecting flight, serving as a fairly decent temporary handle on my luggage after the airlines ....used it as the nose gear??? It seems about daily I find another use for these, so need another pack or two; and my daughters will be receiving the colorful sets, a gift from the Easter Bunny, via Amazon!

I use a lot of cables and needed a better way to organize them. I don't know why I ever hesitated to buy these. When they wrap up, there's no slack left over to get stuck on something else, and they fit everything from little AUX cables to 30 foot XLR cables. I use them to bundle up power cords, organize my gig bag, keep my studio tidy, and because they're purple I can easily identify them as mine when my supplies get mixed up with other gear around a busy stage. I've purchased these twice and I will probably buy them again, not because the older ones are wearing out, but because they're the first thing I reach for any time I need to secure a cable. Update: I just bought my third pack of these because I keep using them for everything. As an added bonus, I just discovered that sticking a couple of these together in a loop makes an excellent kitten toy! Behold the cuteness!

With quadruple monitors, PC, Mini PC, laptop, speakers, printer, lamp, mini fan, etc. it was a must for me to organize the cables. Originally I started with zip ties I had stashed away but quickly realized I need something I can readjust as needed. With so many cables I would reorganize them while organizing them (it was a bitch), which would pointlessly waste zip ties as you need to cut them off and can't reuse them. I don't think I could find anything better than this, nor do I have the need to given it's mostly pros: -They're lightweight without any anchors or starters, very convenient to apply, especially when you're twisted upside down under the desk. -Velcro allows you to apply it with any pressure required. At times I needed it to be real tight and hold up the cables, other times I just needed them to be bundled together loose. -You receive more than enough so you don't have to ration them or worry about running out. I burned through them at my desk without any worries, still had plenty leftover, so I decided to organize the cables in the living room as well, and still have some. Good thing for such a purchase. -Color options, although black works best for cables and blends in which makes it even more discreet, you do have a choice of pink ties if you're a spoiled princess with a pony. Not much really for cons, except when you try gripping the cables with it (more so when you try to tie them to the post of your desk) you might struggle a bit to get that tight hold. Trick is to let the Velcro attach itself before you pull on it for tightness. Even then sometimes it would slip out if you pull too hard at first. Also, don't pull hardcore either, few of them ripped off on me, but then it might be a me problem as my entire life everyone complained I close jars and and bottles and tie things too tight. I wouldn't consider the above cons thought, it comes with the lightweight and convenience aspect of the product. If you need heavyweight I'd consider another product, but for a home or office these are perfect. I"ll be ordering these again for sure should I need more in the future.
