Beneath the fork bridge and close to the tire means better protection
I'm really pleased with this fender, consider it a big upgrade. Testing conditions: i primarily commute to work on the road with occasional dirt paths. I ride rain or shine, 20-28 miles each way. I waited to review this until I'd gone through both standing puddles and downpour conditions. 26x1.75 commuting tires. My previous front fender was right up against the crown of the fork, had a mounting system that used compression inside the fork. It never stayed put properly, tended to wiggle from side to side... and when I re-ran my brake cable it got pushed out of true and refused entirely to remain where it was supposed to. Its placement high up against the crown meant that while it did protect me from the worst of the spray getting me in the face, but even against puddles it didn't protect my feet from water off the tires. This one is placed under the bridge, not up under the crown. My first clue that this was going to be a better fender was riding through a small runoff stream over pavement - not a drop hit my feet. Riding in the rain was another pleasant surprise - the lower placement means it does a FAR better job keeping the spray off my feet and nothing gets up to my face even when riding in heavy rain. I mean, heavy rain will get your feet from above anyway, but at least this fender's placement isn't contributing to it! Its mounting system - Velcro straps (wish they'd had just a little more than they gave me) and side-wing mounts to secure it to the fork - means that it will not meander from side to side while I ride. If it proves to be as durable as it is effective and if it keeps up the good work this winter (I still ride in the snow), I've got a real winner!

Good fit
Seems to keep the muck off areas of the bike. As fall and winter weather approaches, will see how the fenders hold up. Easy installation with zip ties, as the Velcro would fall off. $$$ but worth the protection.

It's wide and effective and can be adjusted on installation
This mudguard fit the back tire well but had to be cut to fit in my front wheel. I used zip ties to secure to the bike frame. This is not as good of a guard as a bike fender with bracing rods for a street bike, but it works well for a mountain bike. Make sure to leave additional space between the tire and guard for mud and small rocks that will get in knobby tires. These guards are larger than many other options for mountain bikes so will work well for mud and rain spray when on the road.

stupid velcro
this was not wide enough for amy tires even though it states its for 3 inch fat tires. they give you a roll of velcro that you have to cut to length to hold this onto the front, and it's not the best. it slid around, dragged on my tire, and after a while, the velcro just gave out and would no longer work. spend your money somewhere else.

Big wide bike fenders
They work great and keep most of all the mud and dirt out of your face and off your back. Great price! Great quality plastic that doesn’t brake easily! If you like to ride on the dirt but not have it all over yourself then these should do the job perfectly

Missing Great Quality, But Missing Velcro Straps for Installation
I recently purchased this bike front tire mudguard, and I must say, the quality is top-notch. The material feels durable, and the design effectively keeps mud and water from splashing onto me while riding. The sleek look also adds a nice touch to my bike's aesthetics. However, I was disappointed to find that the package did not include the velcro straps necessary for installation. This oversight made it challenging to securely attach the mudguard to my bike. While I was able to improvise with some spare straps I had at home, it would have been more convenient if the product came with everything needed for installation. Despite this setback, I'm pleased with the performance of the mudguard itself. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and I haven't experienced any issues with it while riding through wet or muddy terrain. If the manufacturer addresses the missing straps in future shipments, I would highly recommend this product to other cyclists looking for reliable front tire protection.

Works great as a daily rear fender on an eMTB
I trim these front fenders and use them as a rear fenders on two of my Trek eMTBs (Rail and Fuel EXe). These are long enough to keep mud from flinging onto the bike’s suspension (pivots and rear shock) and your lower backside (pants and below). It will not protect your back if you ride in the rain or wet mud, but it’s good enough that I keep them on year round.

Had to get a bit crafty with some snips to make it clear thr chainstays on my Norco but it fits well on a 29 x 2.6 tire, shields me from most of the mud and muck of the ground and the bike really well

Seems like good quality and they were easy to mount. Best fenders regarding clearance that I’ve had so far (have had velo orange, merida etc). No rustling. Perfect for my work horse trek xcaliber 8. Only weak point I can imagine is the round locking mechanism which goes at the stays, they seem too weak. Maybe metal part would be more viable there?
