great read!
Very compelling. As someone who has read all of Dolores Cannon and Michael Newton’s books and lived them, this was another wonderful read along the lines of what in was hoping to find.

An interesting page turning book I could not put down once I started it. A great read.
As I get older I have become more interested in esoteric topics. Even though I am a scientific minded person I am fascinated by personal experiences involving unusual and more mystical topics. One of the things that attracted me to this 221 page soft cover book (Many lives many masters by Brian L. Weiss, M.D.) is that it involves a scientifically trained Psychiatrist. Even though he had many years’ experience dealing with people with all kinds of psychological issues this book focuses on a young 27 years old female patient whose experience under hypnosis revealed an amazing tale of numerous past lives. The Doctor, who as mentioned before, was scientifically trained and had simple answers to previous people he had treated for a wide variety of mental illnesses was at a loss to explain away Catherine’s past lives stories while under hypnosis. She came to see Dr. Weiss because of her anxiety, panic attacks and phobias. This book explores the numerous therapy sessions with Catherine. It became clear after a few sessions that the doctor’s standard psychotherapy approach was different with Catherine due to her past life experiences. During these numerous sessions Catherine kept revealing the many different past lives she had lived as both a man and a woman. The amazing detail Catherine related in these sessions so impressed Dr. Weiss that he could not easily dismiss them as some kind of fantasy. It was not only the past lives that intrigued the author, but during these hypnosis sessions Catherine also related meeting with masters between each of her past lives. As someone who has always rejected any and all forms of mysticism and pseudoscience I admit to being impressed with the experiences of this woman. I do not know whether the related experiences of this woman are true or fantasy, but this book certainly makes one think about the many mysteries not yet solved by science. I found this book a fascinating read. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Zen Poetry Moments: Haiku and Senryu for special occasions).

Sceptic
Enlightening and depressing. No child is therefore born innocent. We carry baggage but are not sure in our physical life as to what needs fixing. Seems like reqression therapy should be addressed very early on in life. The natural world has it figured out. Why are humans taking so long? So many questions. My brother died at the age of 14. Our nephew just died at the age of 41. Am I to believe their time was over in this world as though they had only one purpose. Are our kids actually "our kids"? Or do they choose us help us and also help themselves move to a different plane.

Insightful and Thought-Provoking — Encourages Reflection on Faith and Healing
This book gave me a lot to think about. It follows a psychiatrist and his patient through an unexpected healing journey that challenges the way we understand life, faith, and what comes after. While it explores ideas outside traditional Christian teachings, I still found value in the underlying message about love, compassion, and spiritual growth. What stood out most was how deeply it explores healing, not just of the mind, but of the heart. It reminded me that faith and openness can both lead to peace, even when the path looks different from what we expect. Whether you read it out of curiosity or reflection, it’s a unique story that invites deeper thought about God’s role in our lives and the mysteries of the soul. Pro tip: approach it with an open heart, it’s more about hope and healing than doctrine.

A Book I Share With Others After Loss
I read this book after losing my father, and it brought me a deep sense of comfort and peace. It’s spiritual without being tied to any one religion, which I really appreciated. The idea of souls reconnecting after death is beautifully presented, and it’s an easy yet meaningful read. I now buy several copies at a time and share them with others when they lose a loved one.

Spiritually Challenging Master Piece
Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss is an absolute masterpiece and a must-read for anyone interested in spirituality and metaphysics. This book is truly life-changing! The author recounts his experiences with a patient who undergoes past life regression therapy, which leads to a series of incredible discoveries about the nature of human consciousness and the interconnectedness of all things. What I love about this book is that it presents complex spiritual concepts and ideas in a way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life. It has opened my mind in so many ways and helped me to understand myself and the world around me in a whole new light. I was particularly moved by the insights into the nature of karma and the eternal nature of the soul. This book is well-organized, well-written, and full of profound wisdom and insights. I cannot recommend it highly enough! If you're looking for a book that will challenge your beliefs and transform your life, then Many Lives, Many Masters is a must-read.
