I will start by saying that I have tried many beard products and NONE of them worked for my beard! When I first received this balm, I thought that the size was smaller than I expected. But with this product, a little really goes a long way! This has been the only beard balm that actually works for my hair texture! I'm black and I have a very long, very coarse and very thick beard (I can't stress that description enough lol). It was especially hard finding a working product for my kind of beard. It has been a about a week since I've started using this balm and I'm very satisfied with the results. It makes my beard instantly softer and manageable! This balm even smells great! The best thing about it is that it works all day! I know this review was a little long winded but I felt it was necessary, especially for us with a very thick and unruly beard (I have broken many combs with this beard). There's not a lot of beard products that help us black people with longer beards. You all have just gained a loyal customer! Very recommended!

I have tried beard a lot of beard balms this is by far the worst. Yeah it is made of 100% all natural ingredients but has a very thick consistancy. It really hard to get evenly throughout your beard it seems to clump. The first beard balm I ever tried was Mod Cabins "Backwoods" Beard balm. This is the kind of product you won't be disapointed with. Spreads evenly and smell of real pine.

Good scent and applies well. I live in the central coast area of CA & it rarely gets very cold here. I point this out because I sometimes run across small chunks of the beard balm that resist breaking down for application to my beard. I figure that if 90 to 95 percent of the balm is ready to apply then there is something wrong with the small chunks. It takes a lot more rubbing to get them to finally break down. Other than that I enjoy the product.

I needed a stand-in for my Honest Amish and gave this a shot after reading the reviews. It's definitely not the same.It is like a hard wax at room temperature and doesn't seem to melt smoothly when rubbing it between fingers. This leaves big chunks that get stuck in your beard and look like boogers.

About two years ago I decided to grow a beard. As it got longer, I began to notice the need for something to keep my unruly hairs in line. At first I used beard oil, I tried a couple of different brands, but didn't ever get the result I was looking for. Too oily and not enough control. Eventually I tried a beard balm and felt like I was on the right track. Since then, I've tried just about every balm on the market. Liberty is my favorite. It keeps your hairs in place with just the right amount of hold, stops beard itch and doesn't feel greasy. Good stuff. My only complaint is that I much prefer their Natura balm to the Virtu, and I'm not sure that they make Natura anymore. I don't care for the smell of the Virtu. Hopefully Natura will make a comeback and I will continue to be a happy customer.

This product smells nice. Its not too hard to apply although it is more of a solid paste than a cream. I didn't find that it dramatically changed my beard in any way other than a slightly pleasing odor. Putting more on just seemed to make it greasy. So far I've found using conditioner in the shower had more of a positive effect than this product.

While I was on medical leave I found it the perfect time to work on growing my beard out. I wanted a look that stood out to the dime a dozen trendy beards with a come and go appeal. At first I was disappointed in the small amount in the container, but don't be fooled as it is a many month supply. A coating in the beard every morning followed by a quick brush using a boar's hair brush has given me the thick masculine stand out beard I was looking for with just a 1.5 minute of attention every morning. The refreshing balsam smell is great too! Time and money well spent.

This isn’t balm. It’s hard wax. You can’t put any collective amount on your fingers to rub into a beard, especially a larger beard like the one growing on my manly face. Cheap for a reason look elsewhere.
