Maybe it was a misreading or something, but I thought it would be deeper, so it is not to easy to cook inside with a lot of layers. If for example doing a lasagna, you can only put one layer of meat, otherwise it will overflow

This ceramic oven-safe dish looks good and is sturdy. Cleaning is also easy, after soaking it for a few minutes.It can withstand high temperatures in the oven, and it is dishwasher safe.

This is an excellent dish which I've used often. I was surprised at how small it was because the dimensions include the handles. It's excellent for me though to reheat pasta, etc. It's only enough for one person though.
