Great quality at a great price
These are the perfect replacements (the white ones) for my rusting chrome bathroom downlights. They are sealed units, but it's easy to change the LED GU10 once installed. They required a larger hole in the ceiling than my existing ones.....no problem...I bought a Draper Downlighter Hole Saw set for less than £20 and put 2 sizes (existing hole size and required hole size) on the same arbor (it's impossible to make a larger hole using just the new size without something as a 'guide' in the original hole). They look really good now they are all fitted and enhance the bathroom nicely....recommended....they are amazing quality for the tiny price.

Nice looking, well made but with a useless cable grip system.
Nice looking and well made downlighters. They are a bit fiddly to wire up and the cable grip system is an absolute nightmare! It is a spring clip that keeps popping out when you try to secure the cable. Note to the manufacturer - this feature really needs changing. It is annoying and has lost you a star. Otherwise they seem well designed and safe to use in damp environments and where preventing fire spread is important (eg under bedrooms)

Good quality down lights
Good quality lights. Could be made easier to install if the connectors were slightly bigger

Good lights but quite a few flaws
I bought 10 of these to install in a long shed (its 8m long). Electrician said that as it was covered from the elements I didn't need the IP rating but thought I would go for it. They were the cheapest fire rated IP65 lights I could find. I paid £57.99 (They're £64 today in May 2020). Unfortunately I need more so will now have to pay the extra money!ProsLook nice in brushed satinSeem robust and tight fittingStrong clips to hold them inDecent depth for longer bulbs such as CFL and heatsink based LED bulbsGood IP rating (IP65)Fire Rated (90min)Relatively CheapConsAs per other reviews, the junction box for cables is WAY too small. Lights are installed in radials and so unless its the last one on the line a wire has to go in and a wire has to go out. Getting 2 wires in there is unbelievably difficult, even for a competent electrician. They have one set of screw terminals so you need to squeeze 2 wires into a single hole (other side of the chock box has the braided cable for the light). Once you manage to get the wires in trying to close the box and put the retaining clip in is also a significant challenge. A tip is it to unscrew the chock box and the clips and install it free hand and then put it all back together. A bind but really the only way to do it in good time. The bulb is help behind a metal and glass screen which is screwed on. I suspect that some people trying to get this off may end up chipping or cracking their plasterThe cover reduces the angle of your lighting which reduces the overall impact of your lights. This is because the bulb is over 5mm away from the glass. My bulbs were wide 120 degree bulbs and this will suit 40 degrees or less. They are quite tall at 108mm tall which means you'll need to move a lot of insulation out if the way.
