Sprout Organic Baby Food, Toddler Meals, Mediterranean Veggie Power Bowl with Beans & Quinoa, 5 Oz Bowl (8 Count)

I never leave reviews, but I REALLY like this product. My local health food grocery store, Sprouts, sells this for $6 dollars a bowl IF I get it with a case discount (meaning I buy eight at a time). So getting it on Amazon for $3 a bowl is a steal. She doesn’t like the butternut squash one, but she really loves the quinoa bowl. She loves the green beans in it and the carrots. They make a black bean one too that she likes also, but the quinoa is by far her favorite. We’re pretty healthy eaters so this isn’t too much of a stretch for us. If a toddler was raised on ice cream and McDonald’s chicken nuggets, maybe they wouldn’t like this food product as much? I’m not sure. It’s obviously health food. It’s got a good tomato flavor, not overly salty. But you could add a little salt if you’re used to saltier foods. And it’s just super healthy and reliable. I pop it in the microwave for only 15 seconds and that is the perfect warmth. And now that she’s 2, she feeds herself the entire thing and sometimes asks for more. I also have older kids that babysit and it makes me feel really at peace if we leave during a meal time because there is zero choking hazard with this product. Everything is really small super soft and teeny tiny bite-size. It’s also really easy for the babysitters. I hope this product never goes out of stock because I love it so much for my daughter.

My grandson lives for these. I'm in trouble if I run out. The texture is smooth and creamy. The pasta is a good size. My only complaint is that I wish there was a little more in them as he eats 2.

I love the quality, price and the fact my toddler loves this meal. I like the ingredients and feel good about offering it.

Short shelf life when I received them. Great for nights when time was short and the little one needed a meal in a hurry.

My daughter’s absolute favorite. I tasted myself to see what her obsession was about and I have to admit it’s pretty tasty. The butternut squash has some sweetness and hardiness with the cheese. I literally microwave it for 35 seconds and we are good to go. I have a hard time finding these. Usually sold at target but I haven’t seen them in months due to it selling out. So, I’ll continue to buy here.

Full disclosure, I have no children and bought this for myself. I like all the veggies listed and I thought the packaging and portion size would be perfect for "emergency" lunches at work. That being said, I cannot recommend this. The texture was atrocious, especially when compared to the picture on the box. The black beans were as expected, but all the other ingredients were mushed up together, creating something much closer to baby food puree than I was ready for. The taste was acceptable, but bland. Maybe this is exactly what a mother wants for her baby who is new to foods, but for anyone considering buying this for the reasons I did, move on to something else.

Please re-stock them!

My toddler loves these. I have ordered many times. However I have noticed that this batch made her terribly sick. I took a break and tried it again with her and had the same results so I put them to the side. Her grandmother accidentally gave her yet another one of these and she was AGAIN very sick. I will not be purchasing it again. I can’t take that chance in addition to that, they are way too expensive to be dealing with a mystery box of food.
