The incomparable aroma of Badedas! Woodsy, pine-y, citrusy- herbal. But not the heavy pine-scent of masculine products. Supposedly chesnut aroma but who in blazes knows what that is supposed to smell like? It's sharp & clean, light & feminine. My Scottish mother always used this, and decades later a hint of this aroma brings her back. This is a larger bottle than I expected - my mother's bottles were smaller. A little dab'll do ya on a shower scrubbie so it will last a long time. At $20 it's pricey for an ordinary shower gel, but not pricey for this product- it's 2-3X this price from multiple on line sellers. If you want to indulge in a richly foamy and wonderfully aromatic shower & bath gelee - this is it. It lasts quite a while on the skin and people really like it. It doesn't walk into a room before you do - somebody has to be close enough to give you a hug or be standing right next to you to say "Oh, you smell so good!"

One of the best shower gels available. Bring back the uniqueness of European and German products. The scent is incredible and a very small amount goes a long way. Smooth and sensuous.

Unfortunately the cap had leaked in transit and some of the expensive soap leaked into the box. I was tempted to complain about that due to the high cost of the soap. It is a fragrant soap, and I am enjoying what is left in the bottle.

I bought this as a gift for my son's girlfriend as she loves bath products. I thought this was a good choice as it reminds me of my childhood and when my mom bought it for me. I love the smell and it fills the whole house. It also leaves your skin lovely and soft afterwards. The recipe has not changed in years which shows that it must be successful and I am glad it is the same as I was expecting it to be. I ended up buying a larger version of this as my daughter loved the smell of it too. I usually shower but decided last night to have a bath and added some to the water. It foams up well and the only thing I would say it to be careful getting out of the bath as it can be slippery and you could fall. The larger version is better value for money. It arrives in a branded box and it is easy to open the bottle. It has a round top that opens by just turning it.
