Official Pocket Player's Guide Star Trek The Next generation Customizable Card Game

It is a book more about how the cards were developed and very little about how to play the game. I thought it was going to be all about game play and strategies and how to build a playable deck.

I purchased this when I started buying as much Star Trek CCG decks and booster packs as I could afford, hoping this would help me in playing the game as well as deck building. The book is solid and filled with nice colored pictures and some trivia, however the deck building section is filled with common knowledge that you gain after the second time you attempt to play the game, so it is not as useful as it might first appear. That being said, it is a nice addition to the hobby of collecting cards. And it has a section about the most useful/deadly cards available, which is a cool feature.So, in conclusion, if you are looking for a guide to help you play, this book falls a bit short of that goal, however, if you just want to round out your collection, this book fits the bill perfectly.

This is a good product! Even better than I had hoped for. I recommend this for any one looking for a good deal.

This is a must have for any players using the original 1994 and 1995 cards released in the Star Trek CCG series. Great Resource from a special time in Star Trek history.
