Versitle, durable & inexpensive
I took the bench with me on vacation to Wyoming from Texas. As all RV’ers know, something always needs fixing. My X-tra hand served as work bench, saw-table, picnic table and step ladder for my fiancé. The portability allowed me to fold it up and store it for travel. It is highly durable yet simple to set up. I even used it as a bench for my scroll saw as I do scroll art. It IS a bit weighty but that is compensated by versatility and durability. I love it.

Very unique product used frequently
Very pleased with the sturdiness of the product. It is a bit cumbersome to latch the swing down pieces that lock the legs but the release mechanism for the legs to move to either side is well engineered. I like the functionality of the two sides and use the table to work in my shop and outdoors as well. It will not stand getting wet due to the smooth side material but it should not be an issue with me. It offers more workroom than expected.

The bench top itself looks attractive and sturdy. However
No way could this table could withstand 500 lbs of weight, as advertised. The bench top itself looks attractive and sturdy. However, the folding leg hinges are very poor quality. The spring-loaded locking mechanism pops out easily, causing it to be not securely locked. The mechanism is weaker than even ordinary folding tables - mostly because the legs are designed to fold in both directions to accommodate the "2-in-1" dual surface (platform and workbench). Too bad. I'd rather have strong legs and find another way to flip over the top.

okay portable bench, but the locking legs leave something to be desired.
The bench is sturdy, I'll give it that. On the fifth use the leg locks (2 of 4) failed, and I had to remove the legs, drill out the pop rivet and straighten the locking button before putting it back together. I left the pop rivet out, so the next time it happens it will only take me 5 minutes to fix. It's not rocket science.

Very Impressed!
I just received this workbench and my expectations were exceeded!I ordered this to use it as a workbench in the garage (not for the platform) and needed something that I could put away as I insist on putting both our cars in the garage. I could not be more impressed with the quality of this product for the pricepoint I paid. This thing is very solid and well constructed. The shipping weight on this product is 53lbs but I would guess there is 10lbs plus of packaging. For woodworking you need something with a little weight and this seems to be just right.I highly recommend this if you are wanting a workbench that you can put away and want the build quality of something twice the price.

Poor Quality
Incredibly disappointed with the build quality. Only tried flipping/extending this table for a second time and the pushbutton leg support jammed into the leg on one of the four legs. Now I can only use this safely when the legs are retracted. No accessibility to fix it either since the components are riveted. Severely limits its usefulness since I planned to use it as a work table most of the time, and only have the legs retracted when using it with my benchtop router table on occasion.

A Table That Requires Strength and Finesse
This product is good, but could be better. The weakest link is the snap button springs that secure the telescopic legs. If you press these buttons with gusto to extend or retrieve a telescopic leg, the flat springs to which these buttons are attached may turn 90 degrees inside the leg. Once that happens that leg becomes disabled. The only solution, short of replacing an entire leg, is to remove the pop rivets at both ends of the lower leg in order to gain access to the renegade spring. Once you've done that, you need to push the spring out of the leg with dowel or its likeness. If you simply reintroduce the spring into the leg, it (the spring) will once again do a 90. You're only hope at this point will be to twist or otherwise manipulate the flat spring so it will not leave its rightful position in the leg. This entire issue could have been (and still could be) avoided by pop riveting the flat spring to the leg. Another concern I have about this table is the flimsy articulating braces: you have to finesse them to get them to do their job. Beyond what I have already stated, I caution the smaller people among us to know that this table is heavy and awkward to use.
