Wasp Jak-Hammer 125 SST 1 3/4" Cutting Diameter Broadhead

I ordered several of these for last year's season and this one. I've killed 8 deer, a turkey and a coyote with them and they've never failed to be lethal. The customer service from wasp is amazing, to the point that I had an arrow spine issue and they sent my a pack of new heads to test for free! Turned out the issue was arrow spine and they let me keep the heads anyway. On a recent hunt, I shot the buck you see above at 4 yards, the day after I shot a coyote at 26 yards, with the same broadhead. Pick it up, sharpen it and shoot it. The O-ring even held up after being shot through both animals. I have NEVER failed to recover an animal with these heads and have consistently seen all 3 blades expand. I've only failed to get 1 pass through, on a doe that turned at the shot...but the shot was still immediately fatal! I will most likely never shoot a different broadhead, as long as I bow hunt. Lifelong customer!

A practice tip would be nice!! All other companies offer a practice point, I would even be willing to pay for it. The instructions say to use dental floss or twist ties to keep the blades from deploying, if you use dental floss you’ll spend more time tying the blades down than shooting, and IMHO twist ties would add enough weight to change point of impact and not give an accurate result, it may not change POI much, but I just can’t trust it. The tip that I did use the dental floss on did hit exactly where my field points were, but I would like to able to shoot more than a couple of shots without having to retie the blades. Other than that these are a good product, good penetration, accurate and fly very well. Wasp has always made a good product

Have taken a buck the past 2 seasons from a ground blind with these, less than 50 yard track for both deer with easy to follow blood trails. Highly recommend.

These bh’s perform great! I love the blood trails they leave from impact to the short blood trail to the animal.

These things are bullet proof blew right through 2 shoulder blade not a scratch on them. They are super sharp and stupid accurate.

I used these for a whitetail buck. Passed through from 30 yards and the deer ran about 50 yards. On impact there was a ton of blood and all the way to the deer. Very impressed.Only giving 3 Star because I ordered a second pack and that did not come with the replacement rings like my first pack did? Hoping they send me those in the mail ASAP..

Outstanding product. Great stopping power with this broadhead. It stayed on track at 47 yards for the kill shot.

Made in America & long history of use. Sharp out the box & solid design. Easy to change out the blades. Wasn’t happy after shooting a turkey & the trocar tip was rolled. Should be tougher than that. Won’t be using on anything other than Turkeys.
