This thing is awesome. Simple, simple, simple to put together. Shoot my 11 year old son did it in a matter of like 20 min. The only thing I helped him with was looping the top of the net on the top of the poles. Didn’t take long at all. The net is put together well. As you see in the photos I did have a small part where the net wasn’t twisted together but I don’t thing it’s a big deal. Shoot as well as it’s made I don’t think it’s going to hurt it any. And it has a bag with it so you can take it down and tore it or travel with it to the ball diamonds. I got this so I can pitch to my son and we will have a backstop. And when he is by himself he can pitch at it. The net has many uses. He was playing with it last night as a goal post for soccer so it’s good for just about anything. Been wanting to get one of these for a really long time so I’m glad I was finally able to do that. Anyone who plays sports should definitely have one of these. And the size of this thing will surprise you.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this net to use with my son since baseball was called off this season due to the pandemic. First of all I was surprised by how quick it got here…one day after I placed the order. The net box says, “can be put together in minutes”, they aren’t lying. Very easy to assemble, but still put together well. The net comes with a duffle bag also, for transport or storage. Nice touch. As far as performance: It exceeded my expectations. It comes with some anchor pins that push into the ground to keep it in place, but we tried it out without them the first night and I was amazed that it stood up to my boy’s pitch without flipping over. It did move a bit but not like I expected. Pretty sure the metal parts are powder coated, but even if they aren’t, it’s a quality paint job. The netting material itself seems to be very durable also, not like some cheap volleyball netting I’ve seen. Overall impression is that this is a quality product and worth checking out.

I have 4 kids and have coached a bunch of Little League and girls softball teams over the past 5 years, so I own and/or have used a lot of different equipment in recent years. This style of net is very common for coaches to use since it is easily portable and can be used for a variety of drills. There are a lot of options out there for this type of net, both at sporting goods stores and on Amazon. There are a lot of different brands and generic manufacturers that make basically this exact same net. This one compares well to them all, but there is nothing really special about it other than it does have the MLB logo due to Franklin's relationship with the MLB (they make a lot of MLB batting gloves). This net and the others like it are easy to set up and break down once you've done it a few times and know what to do. Since I have already used numerous similar nets this one took me about 2 minutes to set up without looking at directions.I like this net and it is nice, but there are a lot of options out there so while I'd recommend this net, I'd also recommend a bunch of similar nets. I took off one star simply because while the price of this net is decent, you can usually get basically the same thing for a little less money of you don't care about a brand name or having the MLB logo.

Gigantic 7' x 7' Practice net!!! Really great Quality and easy to set up and begin hitting balls!!! If you can't hit them into this large net you DO need more practice!!! It is a nice set up and we love to drop one in the net bag every now and then...we call that a Bull's Eye!!! Stays up all the time and should last a few years!!! Doubt we will ever need another frame, may have to replace the net sometime down the road but appears it will last a while!! Thank you!!!

Net has a hole where it looks like it was cut. It also looks like it is already falling apart in other areas. Unfortunately I didn’t open the box until after the return window had closed. Terrible purchase

This net is so awesome and huge!! It’s perfect for backyard batting practice for beginners and more advanced users looking to hone their skills. For my family, we are definitely in the beginners category, and we are sticking with hitting whiffle balls with a plastic bat until we get a bit better. But this net works great for the whiffle balls as well as normal baseballs or softballs. It makes collecting the balls much more convenient since you don’t have to go all the way out into the field to retrieve them, prevents wayward balls from potentially damaging property with the huge size of the net, and lets you track and improve your accuracy and precision by seeing how successfully you’re hitting the ball into the net. I really like this for backyard fun for families like mine, but I think it would also be really useful for more serious pursuits and practice. It’s fun to see skills improve with time and effort and practice, and the net really gives you a quantitative method of gauging progress. Also, it was so incredibly quick and easy to put together; it took me like 10 minutes by myself.

No aguanta entrenamientos con bola dura y bateadores adultos. Requiere de contrapeso para no caerse aún cuando batea mi hijo de 8 años. Red se rompió rápido, no he encontrado manera de reponerla

Used for softball pitching/warm up patting but was just too small and it tipped all the time. Don’t recommend this product
