I got a splinter in the outside edge of my palm. Too deep to dig out. Being an Old Fart, I wasn't going to go to a doctor to dig it out. I ignored it for 4 months. Still a deep bruise looking thing, that was a little tender to touch. I heard about this stuff and found it on Amazon. What did I have to loose? I put a smear of it on my hand and covered it with a band aid. Repeatedly redoing it to try for 24 hours a day coverage. After a couple of weeks, I could tell it was getting smaller and moving to the surface. After 3 more weeks, it was totally gone! Nothing ever actually came out. I guess it dissolved. What have you got to loose? Try it!

Last week I accidentally stepped on a tiny piece of glass but it honestly hurt really badly (as to be expected). It happened 10 minutes before I had to leave for work and all of the urgent care places within my medical insurance couldn’t do anything about it (it was under the skin; not too deep but these places weren’t able to do any procedures to take it out). So at work one of my coworkers who’s a medical provider recommended I try this out. Now I was open to anything at this point since I wasn’t able to squeeze it out or anything on my own even with her help. And this product states they can help take out splinters & whatnot so heck why not try it out?? I constantly put it on for a few days and right when it was protruding out of the skin I was able to squeeze it out and get the remaining parts using a tweezer. Now my foot is back to normal!! I cleaned and disinfected it of course afterwards but this did wonders for me!! Definitely keeping it in my first aid kit when I go out and about because you just never truly know!!

This stuff is amazing!!! I had cysts in my armpits, multiple big cysts!!! Using this cream at night for a few days and they’re almost gone. The color is dark brown which isn’t great because it can rub off on clothes so please wear dark clothing when using it. It’s worth it though!

Works pretty good. Hard to apply but that is just the type of paste it is. Also used on my chicken’s foot!

My Mom put this on every cut and splinter I got as a kid, and finding it again felt like running into an old friend. There's something reassuring about a product that hasn't changed much while everything else has. I do a lot of gardening and odd jobs around the house, so this tube gets regular use. Between splinters and the occasional cut, it earns its keep. The smell isn't exactly what I remember, but it still doesn't take much to feel it working. A small dab, cover it up, and let it do its thing overnight. The tube is fair sized and goes a long way since you only need a thin layer. It's become part of my regular first-aid stock, right next to the bandages. I'm not a doctor and this review isn't medical advice. I'm just a longtime user who's glad this stuff is still made. It works well for mosquito bites and helps relieve itching quickly without irritating my skin. I appreciate that it doesn’t cause any unpleasant effects and is gentle. This has been very helpful to have on hand, especially during mosquito season. I would recommend it!

Works well to numb the irritation. In my case bought to try to work a splinter out. Did not help with that. Applications did make it more tolerable till I could get it with tweezers. Smells a bit. Not horrible,just very different.

This stuff works. I developed a ganglion cyst on the top of my left foot. It could have been while walking on a boardwalk where I almost tripped but caught myself. My foot was jarred. The next day I walked barefoot on the beach on Mobile Bay and noticed my foot was very sore. When I got home I saw a ganglion cyst on the top of my foot. I had one surgically removed more than 10 years ago in the same place. I had a walking shoe for about 6 weeks afterwards. I wanted to avoid the summer in a walking shoe and looked for alternatives. I have a hot tub. This is what I did. I would get in the hot tub for about 15 minutes at about 102 degrees and let the jets run over the spot. Not too close, just enough to stimulate blood flow. Then I had a Hooga red and a Hooga green therapy light. The red one works on deeper tissues than the the green. I did not know if these would help or not but I owned them so why not try. I would hold the bulbs about 6 to 12 inches above the spot for about 10 minutes. I would do one in the morning and the other in the evening after getting out of the hot tub and taking a shower. Then I used this ointment appiled with a q-tip, put a cotton round on top and wrap in coband. I would put a sock on to keep in place overnight and removed it in the morning. The ointment was delivered May 25th. This is now May 31 and you really can not see the cyst unless you know where to look. I am going to continue using the lights and maybe the ointment for a few days but will probably quit soon unless the cyst returns. There are 3 variables here, heat, red and green light therapy and the ointment. The Hooga bulbs cost about $40 a piece. I got used like new for less. This ointment is not that expensive so if you consider the cost of seeing a doctor and the inconvenience it was all worth it. By the way, I am the wife of the person named on the account. Hope it works for someone. Very few reviews actually identify ganglion cysts. Look it up. Some people have had these cysts for years. No way of determining if the lights would work alone or the ointment alone. Total cost is not that much. I am pleased with the results. Sorry, I did not take any photos. Just my testimonial.
