The only lily pipes you should get. They are high quality. Well designed and well built. Clear glass with no imperfections. The skimmer and intake is also well designed. Why buy anything else for twice the price. Will be picking up another set when I can afford them

The item looks great in the tank and adds a great sleek look just remember it is GLASS when installing. I like the water skimmer does not bob up and down for me works just fine. I like the option to adjust the water intake on intake tube for stronger flow. The more flow you let in through the bottom of the intake tube the less spinning effect you will get from surface skimmer..

This would be 5 stars if not for the skimmer. Like other's have said, it has flaws. Water takes the path of least resistance and in this case, it's actually the skimmer. This results in a majority of the water actually being sucked in through the skimmer instead of main inlet. This pulls in a bunch of air. I'm not able to run my canister filter at full strength because of this. The bottom part that's supposed to restrict inflow for the skimmer is wide open mind you. It's basically not needed because, as mentioned, water takes the path of least resistance which in this design happens to be the skimmer intake. We've got an ultra wide top with only a few slits at the bottom. It's obvious which way the water wants to travel. It's a nice concept but a majorly flawed design where the engineer didn't seem to know much about fluid dynamics. There needs to be more "slits" on the main intake or the skimmers tube needs to be narrower for this to work as intended and not have such strong sucking force from the skimmer. The lily pipe is great but the design of the skimmer intake lowers it to 4 starts as I can't run my canister filter at full strength without the skimmer sucking in a ton of air and bobbing up and down while spinning. What they can do to fix it is listed above for the next version but I can't recommend this version. All intake slits as well as the unit as a whole are clean and free from obstruction along with freshly cleaned tubing at the time of writing this.

This is my first set of lily pipes. It took me a little while to figure out the water level and air pockets in the crown, but once I got that under control, it has worked great. Love it! Not sure how I ever lived with black plastic tubing in my other tanks!

First out of the box, the glass looked of nice quality and clear. After trying to mount it, you can immediately tell something was off. The joint that attaches to the suction cup is off, causing the lily pipe to be skewed if installed correctly and securely to the suction cup. Then some of the suction cups don’t hold very long before lifting up. Weeks later, after repeatedly having to press the suction cup back down, with a misaligned joint, caused it to snap off completely. This is a terrible product and money should be spent elsewhere. EDIT: Also forgot to mention the skimmer does not work properly. There is too much of a gap at where the pipe slides so the suction from the filter can't actually keep the skimmer below the water line enough to actually skim, and there's no way to adjust. Had to find a small O-ring to seal the gap and keep the pipe were it needed to be.

These pipes honestly look pretty good, quality is solid. Second set of these I’ve purchased, the other was 13mm, they were perfect. However with the 17mm I’ve had two pygmy corys gets stuck in the skimmer now. The top piece/ skimmer is too small in diameter for the inlet pipe, so it sort of flaps around and has a gap where the skimmer’s pipe fits into the inflow pipe. While it does allow the skimmer to easily rise and fall, it also allows things to get sucked in through that gap. Like my fish. :/ Not the best design, the 13mm pipes I purchased had a better fitting between these pieces and I never had any issues. Rest in pieces to the inflow pipe I dropped. Mind you, I upgraded to a larger filter and it has a stronger flow, however this is still a design flaw

Fabulous price for a Fabulous product. A real glass blow lily pipe selling for this low price when everybody else is charging double? I immediately bought a second one after receiving the first one. It's just as pictured. The suction cups are useless, of course. The only negative I can give is that there are no ribs or barbs for the hose to grap to. Then again, my original one from my canister doesn't have it either. A clamp may or may not crack the glass pipe, so I understand why manufacturer didn't include one. My silicone hose grasps very tight, so I am not worried. My original Eheim hose is not so good. It's vinyl, and it hardened around the pipe after I used hot water to soften it before insertion. I might switch all hose to silicone hose in the future.

This is a high quality glass lily pipe set. I was using a more expensive set prior to this, but it broke while cleaning it. I got this one as it was less expensive, and I've been really happy with it. The skimmer works very well. After my old glass return & skimmer broke, I was using a plastic return without a skimmer and was surprised how quickly the surface got loaded up with debris and oils. Within a few minutes of installing this one, the surface was crystal clear. If you have a planted aquarium or rimless aquarium I highly recommend it.

Primero fue un capricho mío,lo admito, por lo bonito que se ve. Pero haga su trabajo bien. Tenía un saluda de pico de pato y estaba rompiendo mis plantas altas. Ahora se crecen tranquilamente aunque el buen corriente se ve.
