Controller Gear PS4 Controller Stand Official Licensed Accessory for PlayStation Dualshock (Controller Sold Separately)

Update 3/5/17: Per the manufacturer's comment, I've added two more photos of the controller in natural light on an overcast day to determine if it's an issue with the lighting angle. One photo is at the angle you would normally see it, with the controller sitting in the stand. The second is where the light is hitting both the controller and the stand at the same angle. It does appear when the light hits both materials at the same angle the color is much closer, and more in line with what I'd expect. I'll add back a star since I incorrectly assumed manufacturing issues.This reminds me of the scene in Sorkin's Jobs biopic, where Fassbender, talking about the NeXT cube: "to the human eye, a perfect cube doesn't look like a cube, so I made roughly 1mm shorter on two sides". Even if I know manufacturing specifications are correct, it fails the visual test: "Why is everything on your desk white except the controller stand white?" At least now, you can answer with a story about this Amazon review you once read...!Original Review:I wanted a stand for my new XBox S controller that I use with my PC, and from the pics this stand fits the bill. It's a piece of plastic that your controller sits on. While light, it's fairly stable, and the logo is printed pretty cleanly. It's hard to tell whether the logo would peel or scratch over time, but given you won't be touching the stand often it's probably not something to worry about.However, I am not happy with the color of the plastic. It does not match the bright and clean white of the controller. It is closer to off white, almost with a hint of gray to it. With the controller on top, it almost looks like the stand is old or dirty. This is my primary complaint, and the only reason for the low rating. Given the price and the advertised pictures, I would have expected better.Unfortunately, there are no other white controller stands that I know of at the moment, so this is as good as it gets.

At first, you would (understandably) think that this stand should be lower than $9.99, since its only function is to aesthetically position your controller within your gaming setup and doesn't even have the sometimes-expected charging capabilities. That was me as well. But once you have it in your hand, you realize how high the built quality actually is. Between Hori, PowerA, BD&A, PDP and other very, very few third party accessories manufactures that have a good reputation for their offerings, this PlayStation officially licensed product from Controller Gear has its mark pretty high. You get a nice, sleek look at the PlayStation logo, a sturdy controller that will never fall off, which is very convenient and helpful for one-handed control that we tend to do at times for smaller tasks, like scrolling through apps. or checking on our downloads in the notifications section. Plus, the hidden compartment is practically seamless, a great addition for storing the earbuds and other small stuff you may use with the PS4 (which I can't think of one right now besides, you know, the earbuds). So, the $9.99 price point is... actually on point for what you're getting (pun maybe intended). Stop looking at it at the page and just order one, or as many as you like! It is totally worth it.

As an avid gamer who likes a clean and ordered gaming space, I love this sleek little stand.Living in an age of wireless controllers, I've never really had a great solution for storing or displaying them—until now. Not only does this item fit the bill from a utility perspective, but it looks great too... the lines are clean, the color is a perfect match to the controller, and setup is a snap (literally).While I primarily use these stands to display my controllers when I'm not playing, I'll also use them occasionally to navigate menus or movies one-handed. As a nifty bonus this product also features a small "secret" compartment in the back; and while it certainly doesn't offer a ton of space, it's definitely useful for stowing away a trio of AA Batteries (as pictured). Lastly, if you're interested, Controller Gear also makes these for  Xbox 360  controllers—I've purchased a few of those as well, and they're every bit as solid.Feel free to leave me a comment or question, I’m happy to add anything else you’d like to know about the product. I have to say, for five bucks at the time I did not expect the quality and the satisfaction from this product. When I recieved this package it was in a nice box and was padded beyond belief. Seriously, there was so much packaging I thought this was a prank. When I finally opened the box, there was a paper thanking me for my purchase and asking if there was anything else they could do to make my experience better with this product. Someone even wrote on the note saying "Thank you so much!" I know this doesnt really matter, but it's the little things they did to make this a good experience. They obviously genuinely care for their customers. The product itself was high quality with a plastic-rubbery touch that was satisfying. It fit my controller perfectly and is enjoyable to have. My favorite detail is they didn't write their name or put their logo on the front of the decoration, but they did stick the Xbox logo on it(which looks great). Overall I love this product and the people behind it. 5 stars.

Simple little cradle, holder for your white or any colour xbox series controller but obviously matches robot white perfectly.

Controller stand for the Xbox controller is pretty nice lightweight solid feel and slim profile stores away easily and the controller is pretty stable on the stand. I use it for the Xbox series X controller looks and feels good nice to use as navigation through the menus while on the stand xbox dashboard watching Netflix ect. Only downside controller can be knocked off with enough force.

This product was exactly as described. It does a good job of holding my Xbox one controller in a vertical position. (it will hold other Xbox controllers too) As you know when you buy it, this product is way over priced though. Also the base has no grip at all (on any hard surface it may sits on) I had to attach mine with double sided tape (as it wouldn't stay in place and even the slightest vibration moved it) I'll give this product 3 stars - but for the price of it though it should have been at least a 2 pack!!

A convenient little holder that will well match a white controller. But, I do want to emphasize because I have received messages a few times asking if I could answer other buyers questions: this is just a plastic holder, absolutely nothing else. There is no charging feature here or anything like that; it simply doesn't obstruct the parts that need to be accessible if you're running a wired charger to it.

This is a perfect stand and there is nothing wrong with it. It is just too much for the price. It should be 5$ not 20$.
