Do not use for climbing
I work as a professional arborist so let me be clear, THIS IS NOT A CLIMBING PULLEY. Absolutely do not use this for rock/tree climbing or rigging applications as it is not rated for weight anywhere close to that.I use it as a dog tether and for other small projects and it works great.

Perfect for My Needs
I know next to nothing about actual climbing. But, I built my toddler daughters an elaborate climbing wall in the basement. To allow them to climb on their own, I bought harnesses, rope and weighted a water can so if they fall/jump, they are slowly lowered to the ground. The pulleys have worked great for that use (keep in mind they are each only 30 lbs).

Strong/Compact
I'm a bomb tech and I use these for rigging. I've never found a better pulley for size/strength/cost. Quick to setup and tear down. They've never let me down.

I had to contact Camp to find out what the minimum recommended diameter was
I use this for a dog run with 8mm rope. The max rope diameter is listed as 12mm. I had to contact Camp to find out what the minimum recommended diameter was. I got a quick reply (8mm). It is well constructed and very smooth.

Great for price
Perfect pulley to hang on your climbing to have your saw or rigging rope pulled up to you. Probably wouldn't use it for a tie in or a rigging point
