My favorite coffee in the world and I no longer have to cart bags back from Italy!
My favorite coffee in the world! Previously I'd bring bags back with me from Italy each trip. Amazed to find it available here and at a very reasonable price!! It's best as expresso as intended but works perfectly well in a standard drip coffee maker. Now I never need to drink inferior coffee just because I live in America!

A bit disappointing.
Taste of any food/drink is strictly subjective. Many reviews on this coffee include the word "perfect". I disagree. It isn't "bad". But, for me, it is not "perfect". It has too much of that dark roast "bite" for me to be my daily "go-to" brew. My fav was the now-discontinued Lavazza Gran Selezione. I could drink that all day every day and I did until I couldn't. I tried this based on reviews and my search for a replacement. I am definitely more of a med roast fan these days but those mostly are too dull. I say Lavazza Crema e Gusto is slightly more pleasing to me than this. Crema e Aroma is boring. This one is was better than the bitter Cafe' Pilon but about on the same level as Cafe' Bustelo with a slight bit of a smoothness boost. But it still is a bit harsh.

Dark roast
Quite dark, shiny beans, slightly oily, but no burnt smell. They did not seem sticky, so I am using them in my coffee maker and have not had any problems. This is a darker blend than I usually get, but it is not bitter. It will make an excellent cold brew this summer.

Perfect coffee beans for Italian espresso
One of the best coffee beans I tried so far. I have a Belleville barista and with coffee beans you will have a real Italian espresso at your home! Grest taste, and creamy! Buonissimo !
