HDDT1BSB USB 3.0 Super Speed to SATA Single Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5 and 3.5 inch Hard Drives

Very happy I made the purchase. Our computer was hit with a power surge and turned out to be too expensive to repair. I asked the shop about retrieving photos and docs. They said it would be $180 and no guarantees. I bought this in hopes of retrieving them myself. I'm not a computer wiz by any stretch of the imagination. So I'm very happy this is pretty much plug and play. I pulled the old hard drive plugged it in to this baby turned it on it said something about my hard drive needed repair, did I want to fix it. I said yes and a few minutes later there was everything on my old hard drive. Yes I'm very happy with this purchase.

The Liztek branded docking station supports 3.5 and 2.5 SATA HDD and SSD drives. I bought mine to clone another SSD drive (smaller to larger). It worked flawlessly. I have since used it to access access a HDD which I couldn't access on my dead computer. Again, it worked as it was supposed to. It is fast, too, using USB 3.0.This product in made in China and does look like other docking stations on Amazon. I'm glad I purchased this Liztek. I wonder where the brand name came from... ?

Tried it on several computers running Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2008. Was recognized and the drivers automatically installed on all of them. Tried several 3.5" and 2.5" physical-platter drives plus one 2.5" SSD and had no problems with any of them. My computers do not have USB 3.0 (yet), but the Liztek adapter correctly recognized USB 2.0 and worked with zero problems, if more slowly than if I had had USB 3.0. Very nice device!

I used this product to be able to use one of my 3.5 Hard drives as an external storage device for my PS4. It worked perfectly and was easy to use. Product doesn't feel flimsy and it's packaged with great care. I don't think the inclusion of instructions is even needed because it's so easy to use.

Works well. Got 108MBs transfer while cloning my 1.5 TB worth of data. Quiet, simple. I like that I can use both 3.5 and 2.5 inch drives in it.

I just replaced my 7 year old pc and did not want to have a box store charge me $150 for a data transfer. This product is easy to use and ready to go out of the box. The transfer speed is pretty quick as well.

Great little product......We'll see how it stands the test of time.......One thing though...... While I'm a fan of the casual business style, subject titles for emails like "Hey, did ya get it?" and "Remember me?" are a good way to have your correspondence end up in the trash.
