Excellent detail and quality of molding
This is not a new mold but shos no signs of aging and the Tamiya brand is as good as gold in modeling. The German WWII soldier is molded in the 1943 long coat and is carrying an MG-42 machinegun. The model allows any number of interesting options with the diorama ideas endless.

Nice range of 1/16 scale figures from Tamiya. Good quality, good fit and finish. I combined this soldier with Rommel and another soldier to make a mini night time diorama.

Perfect size to fit in with other 4 or 3 3/4 inch figures.
It's a well made product that has nice detail. The molds leave nice, sharp detail just waiting for an expert wash. I'm not an expert, but I'm giving it a try regardless. To me the scale is the greatest thing as I can fit him in with my 1/18 scale dioramas mostly built from old Ultimate Soldier figures. Since Ultimate Soldier no longer exists, this set fits right in that lost place.
