Good Quality But Flat
This tuner was well constructed, and had good mellow tone, but one of the notes was flat so I had to return it.

Good Quality
While this is more expensive than the molded plastic ones, you get what you pay for. The tone quality of this pitch pipe is good and strong. I read the other reviews before deciding on this product. Some said you had to blow hard. I found that not to be true. Some said it was flat, so I tested this against a tuning app. If you blow hard, it goes about a 1/4- to a 1/2 step flat. But it you blow gently, it's perfect. I wanted this for rough tuning when I restring. (I'll fine tune with a clip on.) This will work well for that.

Tuning for Dummies
I bought this ukulele pitchpipe to replace tuning it using my cheap electronic tuning device. The electronic tuning was never accurate enough and also a bit uncertain. I have always used a pitchpipe so I wanted to go back to this effective and simple method. It works as advertized and never disappoints. Do not blow too hard, as this could impact the pipes reeds. Also, do not wash this in HOT water... if you must clean, use a mild dish soap and cold water, shake out excess and let air dry. If properly cared for this pipe should give your years of use.

Better than doing it by ear and humming
This was disappointing. These are very cheaply made and not very reliable. My first pipe had the G reed stuck so it made no sound. I called the vendor and they sent me another one. It is OK, has a little rattle at A, and is a little quiet on G, but it is passable.I ended up grabbing my electronic tuner from my cello and I use that to tune my ukulele. All in all, not my most favorite purchase, but better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Tune with your ears, not your eyes
I'd rather have this than any clip-on tuner.

A Handy and Small Companion
While I have a larger disc pitch pipe, I wanted one small. All I needed was to know I had Middle C. OK in my pocket. The day after it was delivered, I used a drop of two-part epoxy to cement a swivel-spring-clip to it, and keep it now on a long shoe-lace lanyard around my neck. OK in my picket, but perfect around my neck.

Are you sure you want one of these?
There's nothing wrong w/this product. It works as advertised. However, why not buy a digital tuner instead? You can get one for ~$15.
