Powerful, lightweight, and useful for more than touch-ups
This thing is awesome. The suction is much stronger than I expected from something this lightweight, and the battery lasts long enough for the way we use it. It’s easy to maneuver, and it’s light enough that even my five-year-old can use it without struggling.Although it seems to be advertised mainly for quick touch-ups, we regularly use it to clean our entire downstairs and the upstairs tile bathrooms. It handles everyday dirt, crumbs, cat hair, and other debris very well, then makes it easy to spray and mop the same area without switching tools. The included cleaning solution also smells really nice. The scent is fresh without being overpowering, and it leaves the floors smelling clean after we’re finished. Another unexpected benefit is how quiet it is. Our cats usually disappear when the regular vacuum comes out, but this doesn’t seem to scare them.

The Shark is perfect! Great suction and Easy!
I exhaust researching when I want to buy a product, and with this one, I found exactly what I wanted! I vacilated over the very popular and now common cleaners that have a rotary brush, that advertise vacuuming and mopping together. In years past, I had a cordless little vaccuum for vacuuming up quick messes, but would never want to put liquid in it. These new units advertise it all, even self-cleaning of the brush in a stand after use. I have not tried any of those. I almost bought one of those, but thougth they were very big and pretty expensive. and wanted something convenient - not combersome. I wanted something that was easy to quickly go over my floor after cooking, or a spill of some sort. I needed to buy a mop for my new luxury vinyl floor as well, and those bigger units say they do it all. But, I wouldn't need these big units because I don't have young children and animals that would make very messy messes. I really hesitated with this Shark worrying it was just too small, too light weight to be of a big value. I am SO HAPPY I decided to go ahead and try it!! The suction is unbelievably strong! Don't know how it can do it! Moves over the floor so easily and does a great job! Then the mopping feature is perfect as well! I has it's separate lever to widely spray out the liquid with the vacuum off, then going over the wet area, the disposable pad on the bottom has just the right texture to really scrub over the floor. I personally don't like the pre-mixed cleaning solution that comes with the Swiffers - seems sticky to me. This Shark unit has solution you can use and buy to pour into the small containing area on the unit, but I pour just plain water in it, so that I feel free to wet my floor how ever I want, without feeling there has to be some rinsing of it. Or a special way of applying it. I can add cleaner whenever I want, and don't have to continually buy a bottle of cleaner that attaches, when I want to do some mopping or wet clean-up. This Shark unit has never run out of battery for me. I hang it on a hook in my pantry, and plug it in occasionally if I have used it a lot. The pad on the bottom! - I end up loving it!!! Again, Shark is genious to make it to hold the dry litter from the floor in it, and you have the choice of leaving it until full, or it also opens up and you can dispose of it, emptying it and replacing without buying a new one yet. Then it is a throw-away when you decide it has been used too much. It even has a small scratcher strip along it, if you need to scrub a little on the floor. I also purchased 2 reusable cloth pads made for it,that fit perfectly that I can launder if I don't want to keep buying the disposable ones. This is EASY, does a great job, has big suction, mops the floor, is cordless, ergonomic, light weight. But mostly does a great great job. I may buy one of the machines with a spinning brush on it for when I want to really scrub the floor in the grooves of the floor- like Spring or Fall extra cleaning. But I am definitly keeping my floor very clean on a daily basis, so it always looks so clean! Thank you Shark!! I love your products! It is perfect!! High Quality!!!

Love it
This is the 2nd time I have purchased this VacMop. Absolutely love it! Replacement pads can be a bit pricey but because of the time and energy this vacmop saves me, it is well worth the extra cost. It is lightweight, glides smoothly on my texture laminant floor and saves me and my bad back from carrying a heavy water bucket around. The only thing I do not like about it is when I use it under furniture. Half of The mop pad flips under itself due to the handle not laying perfectly flat. It's no big deal to flip the pad back in place. The vacmop came with a bottle of cleaning solution that I am not real pleased with. There are warnings about the chemicals but I see nothing about it being safe for pets. Will be using different solution even thow direction recommend to only use their product.Overall, I highly recommend. Good quality, easy to use, lightweight and worthy of the money spent.

Only lasts 10-13 minutes per charge
I struggled between 3 or 4 stars and ultimately gave it 4, here's my process, after researching for several hours with Alexa comparing various wet/dry vacs, I ultimately settled on this one because delivery time (same day), price ($59) and features (wet/dry disposable pads). Delivery didn't happen and had to cancel and re-order, once I received unit, it was a bit overpriced as it only runs for 10-15 minutes depending on whether you're just vacuuming or if you have to use spray feature as buttons don't with simultaneously, you have to stop vacuuming, press spray button, stop and then press vacuum button to continue. If you have hand or mobility issues, this is definitely an issue although for the time it runs, you'll get a break in between to recover as you wait for machine to recharge again. 1st time I used only on vacuum, I was able to do light vacuuming around furniture in sunroom (tile floor), living/dining rooms (hardwood) and kitchen (tile). The 2nd time I used the mop/vacuum combined and due to stopping to spray then vacuum, I was only able to do sunroom and 1/4 of the living room. Because they only give you 4 disposable pads that have a unique design where dust goes that gets vacuumed in and pad sweeps leftover debris, you can't just use any pad, I decided to purchase separately reusable pads, thus increasing the overall price, although you'd still have to spend more money anyways since it only includes 4 disposable pads to begin with. Things I love about this unit is the lightweight and compact design, the suction is great for such a small unit and its convenient non corded design makes it much easier to maneuver with its pivoting head that gets around furniture, corners and obstacles. This unit will work for the time being until I'm able to purchase something that'll last longer (even if it's corded), comes with reusable pads and I'll even take dirty/clean water canisters that I don't mind cleaning myself.

This is the BEST!
Hands down the best cordless vacuum I’ve ever used. It will pick up large pieces and when you have kids dropping goldfish that’s high on the list! It’s nice that you can vacuum then turn around and clean the floor without having to get anything else out!

Love it!!!
Game changer! So convenient, mops and vacuums better than our $$$$ stick vac/mop. Rechargeable and disposable is the right combo for quick cleanups!

Game Changer for me-- but will depend on what you are using it for
**Not before and after pictures, just pictures of our floor for context** Lightweight/portable, great suction, love this thing!!!!With a 2800 sq ft house, full time job, a messy kid and a cat, our floors have not been able to be a priority for the 6 years we've lived in our house, unfortunately. We have a very old laminate that I love the color of but really needs to be replaced. It is scuffed and has no shine whatsoever, but because of the size of our house (and all the other updates we've prioritized) we haven't been ready to pay for it. For the most part, it's fine for a while (as shown in second picture), but where the light comes in through the windows and doors (first picture), you can see every single imperfection--and spot of dirt, crumb, lint, cat hair, and footprint! Everything on the floor shows up because of the color, so there is usually a trail of all of the above, from the side door that we use to go in and out to the kitchen, near the trashcan, near the cat food, under the edge of the couch, etc etc. I do A LOT of spot sweeping with a little Dirt Devil cordless handvac that I use almost daily just so that the floors don't look DISGUSTING at all times. My floors are not CLEAN most of the time (yes, I do sweep/vac and mop when I can but in this household you'd have to do it daily to be "clean" and it takes at least an hour to do a good job) but I hate looking around daily and just seeing all the dirt/crumbs etc in the light, so I spot sweep/vac. Anyway, using a tiny handvac to spot vac every day seemed really inefficient (plus battery life doesn't usually last long enough on my handvac, about 10 mins) hence, my purchase of the vacmop. When it arrived, in testing it out I went ahead and did the whole main part of the house--giant open living room/kitchen/dining room and hallway (probably 1000 sq ft total), both vacuuming and mopping. I wasn't anticipating the vacmop being able to handle that much space in one charge, but it did! 13 mins runtime is what is advertised and I didn't think that would do it, but it's not using battery during mopping, it squirts out a little water and then you run it over that to scrub. So vac a little area and spray, using the battery, then run it over the area you want to "mop." I did end up "mopping" this whole area, and afterward I felt like my floors were the cleanest they've been in a long time. It did take all 4 pads that came with the starter pack, but I'm not surprised at that, I usually dump my cheap knockoff robovac every 15 mins or so when I let it run. No areas in this device to worry about getting clogged or having to clean regularly-- you just toss the pad. It has a plastic area that collects the dirt and it can fill up quickly, depending on your household. When I got up this morning, I used the vacmop for just a few minutes to roam around the house, spot vac/mopping what needed to be done, and took me about 5 mins. I really think this thing will be a game changer for me, but will depend on your needs and what you want to use it for. For a whole house floor clean, I will keep using my regular Bissell Featherweight Vac (mostly just because I don't want to use 4 vacmop pads lol) and my Shark Steam Mop, for a good deep clean. But for spot cleaning, for me, this device is 5 star.About buying generic pads... I bought this device on sale for $60 but the cost of the replacement disposable pads was almost a deterrent, and figured I would just buy washable/generic ones (like I have for my steam mop). However, I don't understand how the washable ones would work without the plastic piece designed for the dry dirt. Some of them have that piece that you can empty/rinse out, but, meh. Seems a little gross to me and kind of defeats the purpose. There are generic disposable pads with the dry dirt area, just like the name brand VacMop ones, but when I looked to order the Shark ones were actually a lot cheaper than the knockoffs ($27 for 32 Shark pads, $20 for 10 generic pads). So once I used the Vacmop the first time and LOVED it, I went ahead and bought the box of 32 Shark Vacmop pads. There are smaller quantities available as well. The cleaning solution - starter pack came with one 12 oz bottle and it all fits into the device.. It was the perfect amount for the large area I cleaned, worked well, and I didn't notice a smell at all. I would buy it again if I needed to, but I have other floor cleaners here to use (and I like Pinesol and certain other floor cleaning smells) so I don't plan on buying more of that, for a while at least. Nowhere on this device does it say that any other cleaning solution can damage the device (my Shark steam mop says using anything other than water can damage it, but I do anyway without any issues), so if you have anything else that is more cost efficient/you like better, I don't think that would be a problem. I used diluted Pinesol for my little quick spot clean this morning. (Oh and as far as suction power, it got up a huge dead yellow jacket I found this morning, and no worries about clogging or anything like that because it was thrown away in the disposable pad!)

My family loves it, only con is short battery life
Purchased this for my sis-in-law, then my mom visited and absolutely loved it so I got her one for mother's day as well. The only con is the battery life, it dies fast and needs to be plugged in often. Good for small clean up or small apartments, not ideal for a big house if you're planning on using this to clean the entire place in one setting. Suction is strong, but when use just to vacuum I do have to push it some more to get it to actually move. 4/5 because of the short battery life, but I purchased it twice so that speaks for itself. Lol.

Nice, effective product
We had a similar piece earlier which broke after almost 2 years of use. Hence, we understand the reliability of this material. It is good and we purchased the same product again.

Love it!
I really like this vac/map, it’s very practical for my home. It’s great for daily cleaning and also just quick clean ups, it’s very light and easy to carry anywhere in the house. I find the suction to be very good. I mainly use it on the areas of my home with laminate flooring, so the pads do last for a good amount of uses. For tiled areas like my kitchen, that need a deeper clean, I use this more like a broom replacement and then mop with my steam mop, it’s still great because it’s just so much faster than sweeping.
User
More bad than good.
The vacuum it self is amazing quality. However, the quality they use is cheap and terrible quality. The plastic, the fabric or cotton wears out in just a few strokes of vacuum cleaner. The area or compartment that the dust and materials collected is very small. I don’t commend to buy.

Love this thing!
So I have two Dyson stick vacs, but this is now my go-to for the uncarpeted floor. It picks up surprisingly well and I love that I'm never looking for blockages or cleaning power heads. Yes, the pads need to be purchased, but for regular cleaning I'm really only replacing about a pad per week. Well worth it for it actually picking everything up (cordlessly) and letting me wash the floor with in the same run. Been using it for several weeks and I'm very impressed so far.
