3 Pcs. x 6" Wooden Bread, Beakery, Butter, Jam Spreader Knives Red Wood

I bought these to go with homemade jam Christmas presents and washed them before putting them in the packages. I was alarmed because all of a sudden the water was running red. At first I thought it was some kind of dye or ink, but the seller gave me lots of great information about the wood, which does indeed produce a red resin in some cases. Mystery solved! Big thanks to the seller for teaching me more about xylia xylocarpa! The spreaders are nice, but did dull significantly after rinsing - still, they'll work just fine.

Several of the spreaders are too thin in the middle so when used they will break. I had 10 that were not usable at all. I contacted the company with my complaint and the did send 10 more ,but they were just as marginal as the others ,out of the 10 they sent I had about 5 good ones. I did explain to them that I sell the spreaders with bowls that I make so they need to hold up to their intended use. I will not be using this company again!

They are dull and rough and had some type of residue. This is after rinsing in cold water. They feel used and signs of what I think is wear and tear The spoon on the right is from a set I ordered a few weeks ago. That is what I expected.

Wooden butter knives

Great for spreading jam or softened butter, but I use these when cooking with non stick cookware. No worries of scratching your pans. Very sturdy for being so small.

Gave them as a gift and they love them. Color is great!.

Got these to go with some homemade cheese spreads I made as Xmas gifts. They took a long time to arrive but are far more beautiful than the price reflects.
