I already have the same 4uMor fan in my bedroom and have had it for 5 years. It is on all night every night even in the winter because I like a little breeze while I sleep. I have ‘never’ had a single problem with it and it is still as good as new after years of constant use. I have just bought another one for the lounge. If you want a fan with many choices of speed, smooth rotation, light on or off, change of mode, adjustable height, clean lines, packed safely without unnecessary packaging or awful polystyrene bits and is practically silent, this is the perfect fan a great and ingenious design and engineering. Plus a link in the booklet allows you to easily and quickly watch step by step (on your tablet/phone etc )for assembly which I found so easy (81yrs young) took me about 15mins after unpacking to using it. Wonderful!

Very satisfied with purchase. I use most often the mildest breeze (1 among 1-10) as it feels like a gentle natural wind and does not make me too cold or uncomfortable even after using hours in a very close distance. And it is incredibly quiet just like sitting outside in a cool day. It is very light, so easy to move from room to room even for me (a small woman in 60s).

Aaahhh this thing is amaziinngggg!!! I assembled it without the instructions until it got to the blade part but it was easy to assemble with a little common sense! It is virtually silent from settings 1 - 3, very quiet from 4 - 6, and still quieter than our older fan on the highest setting! Our old fan just pushed warm air around..This thing somehow makes the air cool and I have no idea how lol. The remote works from pretty far away and through objects, so you can lay in bed, point the remote and it would work. There are so many options on how this thing works for you. Eco friendly options, pulsing air, good old oscillation, you can turn off the display light (it makes a creepy shadow on the ceiling otherwise and is bright in the dark.) There's a button on the remote for silence but nothing happens when I press it so I dunno what that's about lol. My only gripe with this fan is it's not as tall as it looks. On the floor it came up to my bum and I'm 5'1. So we still have to put it on a table for it to reach us in bed. Speaking of which, you can sleep with this fan on -no- problem. I'm a light sleeping insomniac (writing this at 5am haha) and even I can sleep through it. It's a quiet humming, so oddly comforting. Honestly I'm amazed it's the price it is, it should be so much more for how awesome it is! Honestly, grab it. You won't regret it!

After the recent spell of hot weather and the house turning into an oven my kids were struggling to sleep. I've already got a number of fans in the house but they're pretty noisy and as much as I don't mind the hum of the fan at night the kids struggle to sleep with the noise. I was a bit hesitant about spending so much on a fan when a basic fan can be had for much less but I wanted something that was quiet. I was also a bit suspicious of the dB claim as surely the act of moving air with a fan blade will still create noise? Somehow they've managed it and on the lowest setting it is whisper quiet and fades into the back ground. It has quiet a few functions and the remote is very good and works from across the room without needing to be clicked a few times or pointed directly at the sensor. The timer is good and although is a feature found on many fans I don't have it on the one in my room and I can set it for a couple of hours until the kids have drifted off and it will turn off. It is reasonably powerful but not much more than any other fan which is a shame as I would have hoped at the price point it would have the ability to have a mega powerful setting when you're really trying to cool a room down or cover a large area. That said, my powerful fan can be heard down the street when I've got it backed up to the window and sounds like a light aircraft. This one of full power is still very quiet for the amount off cooling it does. I didn't buy it for aesthetics as it's not exactly on display but you can tell it's a premium bit of kit when you put it together which is reassuring that you can see where your money has gone. If you were bothered about aesthetics I doubt you'd feel let down. Overall it does exactly what I wanted and is surprisingly quiet with all the features you'd want from a fan I'd just like it to have the ability to up the ante on power when I want to.

I have had countless fans, I am extremely noise sensitive, and have various temperature needs due to illness and being a female! Quite honestly I was sceptical about how silent any fan could be, even though reviews were good. Well, it is just that, silent. Obviously the higher you go there is noise, but even then it isn’t the kind of noise that gets on your nerves. On the lowest level it is silent, giving a gentle, soft breeze, perfect for when you’re not boiling but need some air movement, and for night time. Level two is still so quiet! Very soft and gentle. My previous fan I needed earplugs to sleep at night even on its lowest level, and STILL could hear it! When it oscillated it was like it had kinks in its neck, this one, well it is so unobtrusive. I didn’t believe I could be in love with a fan, I despaired of ever finding one I could live with that did it’s job effectively at the same time, but I’m in love with this one! Not in a million years did I think I’d spend this much on a fan, or indulge in such a thing as a remote controlled one, well, every penny spent is a million times worth it! It looks lovely and sleek too. Yes it’s made of plastic and quite lightweight, but it’s not flimsy, and it’s easy & quick to put together. I’m truly thrilled with the investment I made in this fan. It is a little short, and I thought with having a high bed I might not be able to feel it, but it’s fine put at the end side of my bed. The remote receiver seems to be on the base of the fan, and I thought I would be getting out of bed to try to direct the remote at the right place, but not so, I just point it at the fan itself and it works! A dream. Well worth buying.

Wow... great fan, I had a couple of reasons to choose, the adjustable height, sleep mode and now quite it was... and its brilliant, so quite you literally cannot hear it at night which is perfect. It has great air flow, easy to assemble, great value for money compared to some of the big brands,so pleased with it !

Although it is little expensive, but it is good quality and last very long than other fan. I have buy other brand fans and it broken after 1 or 2 years but this one still function normally after 3 years. Easy to assembly and clean. The max level give decent wind and it help me to get through the heat wave. It is feature-rich and you are able to set timer for shutdown after few hours which is convenience when used for dry cloth. Overall very good quality fan.

Ordered this fan as it advertised as being quiet at 20 dbs. I was very sceptical before ordering but after the assembly and test it was absolutely quiet on speed 1 and 2 and 3. Number three gives a nice gentle breeze in the bedroom and no noise whatsoever. Perfect for sleeping which is the reason we bought the fan. The overall quality is exceptional and the remote control very handy. I would recommend to anyone who has tried other fans and found them too noisy for sleeping. The fan is not as tall as most pedestal fans but this is not an issue. The price is high but it is worth it.
