refreshing
tried many green teas, but Sencha is the most refreshing and palatable to me. Pros: Made correctly its flavour is subtle. Individual wrapped bags keep tea fresh. Actual Japanese Sencha tea, not 'style'. Perfect acconpanyment to Ramen or light japanese food. Cons : Expensive per box of 20 bags. Unless made following directions it can be bitter or bland. Aquired taste. Conclusion : As an occasional treat or Sushi/ Ramen accompanyment this is great, not to be treated like normal black tea. taste is delicate and pleasant if made with 80ยฐ water and allowed to steep for 2 mins. would suggest as first step before trying Mancha.
