Great replacement to R56 Mini (Gen 2) key surround
Makes the key look much more refreshed. My surround have completely come off on one key and damaged on the other. This is a perfect replacement. It is made of metal and feels very solid. The surround just clips onto the key very easily, and you have no fear of it falling off. It is definitely secure enough. There is no adhesion required if you do not want.You do not need to take off to use the key, or do anything with it once installed. Just use your key as you would normally do. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Easy to catch at bend out of shape so falls off
Lovely colour. Needs to improve how it stays on fob, as caught the ends and now metal has gone out of shape and keeps falling off.

Why would you not fit one!
Mini keyfobs of a certain age definitely start to suffer around the "chrome" ring and if you ever need to remove it that ill almost certainly be the end of it. This trim is an ideal replacement, easy to fit but stays in place, looks good and can colour code to the car (a bit :) )
