Reliable starting so far and good to use.
Good so far. It started after three pulls - there's been negative feedback about new machines not starting, the switch was in the 'off' position and was really stiff to budge it for the first time. I didn't know if it was ON or OFF and therefore which direction to persuade it. The switch eventually budged with a loud click and has been easy to use since - I guess it's newness meant that the switch had seized plastic-to-plastic and had never been used. Otherwise all good so far. A neighbour has one and the ignition failed after a few months but we replaced it outside of warranty cheaply and easily, so maybe there were some faulty batches. Theirs works very hard as a brush cutter. They're so pleased they bought a second one, that's partly why I chose this one too. Hedge trimmer deals with thin twigs but nothing very thick - I've had better cutting from budget electric hedge trimmers. OK for trimming hedges but not so good at cutting back things like hawthorn. Harness is basic but OK and comfortable.

Underwhelming Performance and Build Quality
I purchased the Hyundai 52cc Long Reach 5-in-1 Petrol Garden Multi Tool with high expectations, hoping it would streamline my gardening tasks. However, my experience has been less than satisfactory.๎ Firstly, the starting mechanism is unreliable. Despite following the instructions meticulously, the engine often requires multiple attempts to start, which is both time-consuming and frustrating. The soft-pull recoil system, touted as an easy start feature, doesn't consistently deliver on its promise.๎ Once operational, the tool's weight becomes apparent. At 7.75kg, it's quite heavy, and even with the provided shoulder harness, prolonged use leads to significant fatigue. The harness itself is of subpar quality, offering minimal support and comfort.๎ The attachments, while diverse, exhibit varying degrees of effectiveness. The hedge trimmer and chainsaw attachments perform adequately, but the grass trimmer and brushcutter lack precision and often struggle with tougher vegetation. Additionally, the extension pole, intended to provide extended reach, feels unstable and unwieldy, making high-reach tasks challenging.๎ Maintenance is another concern. The tool requires frequent adjustments, and some parts, like the trimmer line, wear out quickly. Moreover, sourcing replacement parts has proven difficult, with limited availability and support.๎ In summary, while the Hyundai 52cc Multi Tool offers versatility on paper, its practical application is hindered by starting issues, excessive weight, inconsistent attachment performance, and maintenance challenges. I would advise potential buyers to consider these factors carefully before making a purchase.๎

Good for grass and large branches. Not so much for hedge cutting.
Hedge cutter is the only thing I have anything bad to say, everything else is as it should be, engines powerful, chainsaw works well, Strimmer and brush cutter are as they should be, yet to test the extended pole as is a bit of a heavy machine. Setup was also very simple.

Easy start
Got this as a more powerful option ie petrol! Despite the disparaging views previously for this tool I found it great straight from the box. Yes, its heavy, and I used the hedge trimmer with extension for around 5 hours on its first outing, so use the harness where you can or plain old tough it out! Very easy to set up as these thing are. Lots of power, I used the recommended E5 petrol which meant getting some super unleaded. As a result, despite again the starting problems mentioned in previous reviews, it sparked up easily after stopping several times throughout the day. Admittedly I did anticpate some restart problems from hot, but none manifested themselves, in fact one pull was enough to start up again. As for fuel, I managed the whole stint on one tank and I didnt scrimp on the throttle. Ive yet to use the brush cutter and pole pruner attachements, though previous experience and looking at the parts, I dont think there will be any bother. So, at this moment in time, easy to assemble, plenty of power, yes heavy, but its a chunk of 52cc engine, what do you expect? Seems pretty robust, nothing fell off during use, fuel consumption as expected, it has the versatility I required and to be honest was in my budget for this kind of tool, so for me, value for money. For now, I like it. Ask me again when Im cursing it!!!!!!

Very good
Only used the strimmer so far :) love it. Very heavy. Also the strimmer wont go through thick weeds but will damage the shed. It was weird. I recomend gettong a funnel fkr the fule or it will go everywhere. Assembily was quite simple but first time took 2 ppl.

Its just not what I expected
I have bad shoulders so I brought this to help do my massive hedge which is quite high and very long, having the extra length of the extra pole it meant I didn't need to go up ladders and struggle. Also some of the weight is taken from my shoulders onto the harness. Putting it together and swapping attachments is dead easy and straight forward. The Brush cutter can be a bit awkward to sit so its balanced right and seems to cut ok. The strimmer is good, but once the nylon cord breaks down only one side bumps out as it should. It cuts well. The chainsaw I havent used yet The hedge trimmer isn't very good at all. It is awkward to do at the shortest length even with the different angles of the head. But this is probably down to technique over design and the fact I have used hand heads for 15 years. It lacks the power of the McCullock machines i usually use and struggled to cut through anything much thicker than a pencil. My silver burch is in full swing looking thick and lovely, the trimmer struggled to cut through the leaves, I believe they're too light to drop between the blades. I have always used 2 stroke machines and this one is hands down the hardest one I've ever had to start. Fuel mixed as the bottle says but still its a nightmare to get it to kick over. Today I have used it for the second time since buying and I used it for just over an hour, my shoulder is still killing after using it and to add to it thr stop button pissed me right off, at certain angles I kept knocking it causing the machine to stop. Ita just not well placed at all. The harness isn't made for people of mysize really. Im 6"3 with a 50" chest, it made me feel like I was wearing a bra, even with everything as tight as I could get it with out the straps dropping out it was to low. Its a shame because I was expecting so much and thought by buying this tool with everything built in was going to save me money by not buying individual tools and help my shoulders. Granted my pain isn't as bad as what it would have been but at the moment I couldn't use it longer than an hour or two. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? No. Itll probably now just serve as a strimmer and maybe use the chain saw every now and then. Im going to go back to using my hand clippers for the hedge.. Oh yeah the engine is so close to me I now stink of fumes and need a shower. Never had that before. Its will be ok for small jobs but definitely not for what I need. Juat for refrence, I live in an ex council house which is a corner plot. So just a normal house.

Great quality!
Incredible value for money! I was a bit sceptical buying a Multi tool, I initially just wanted a bladed strimmer, but very glad I bought the multitool. Iโve cleared half an acre of brambles with the hedge cutter and bladed strimmer, effortlessly! Itโs my new favourite thing.

Not working and nobody w ill touch it,
Useless- and no UK support! Nobody tells you this when you buy it. I can't start it . I bought it three months ago. I had a look at it myself- air filter, spark plug, carburetter. Still won't start. It worked initially. Well, I thought I'd try my local people and several garden machinery people won't touch it: no UK support, no parts- apparently. What the hell is one supposed to do? I found the number for "UK support" where I spoke to someone with very poor English, who promised to send me an email with details of what to do. Nothing arrived. AVOID HYUNDAI PRODUCTS IN THE UK!
