Both the G and high E strings broke, on both sets, long before getting to pitch.

Yeah I’ve had that happen to me too. What I’ve do here lately is tune them almost to standard let them sit for 30 minutes to an hour and then finish turning. Hope this helps you out.

Absolutely! I use these for all my acoustics. Specifically the light Guage. The biggest destroyer of acoustic guitars is heavy Guage strings. When I started in the early 60s, the heavy strings was all we could get. That's not true any more. They sound great, bends are easy and stress on the guitar is WAY less. Try them out, you will love them.
