Best pacifier ever!
I loved that my baby can hug the small stuffed animal and tuck the pacifier. She loved it. It is machine washable and as soon as you take it out, it does not really need to be dried as it is dried already and is ready to be used. I thought it was a bigger giraffe and was disappointed at first to see it so tiny, but I believe it is the appropriate size for an infant not to choke on. It is a pricey ($13-$14 ea.). Wish it was half price, and wish I could replace pacifiers on the stuffed animal, but can not, since it is sewed with stitches to the giraffe. BabyHaven is really professional and nice. When I received other regular Soothie pacifiers in damaged boxes, they offered to send me replacements for free. Hoping to receive them soon by mail. ---------------------------------------- Edited April 8, 2013: I now have an Amazon Prime Membership with my Amazon Mom membership, I receive everything in 2 days and can return items with no hassle. Back when I bought the Wubbanub and Avent Soothie Pacifiers from BabyHaven, I thought they proposed to send me free pacifiers to replace the damaged packages I received but they did not and wanted me to pay for the return shipping rate. They said since product is not damage it is my responsibility. They tucked 6 Avent soothie pacifiers and 3 wubbanub pacifiers in one small bubbly envelop!!! The Avent Soothie's package was ruined but they did not care. They were not so professional what so ever. We are treated better when we get the Prime Membership as we deal with Amazon directly versus with the seller. Packaging is better, as they send in a boxes even small ones versus in an envelop that gets ur package damaged from shipping. Would still recommend the product though. My daughter stopped taking the pacifier around 4 months, but she loves to play with the tiny stuffed animal and chew on it sometimes :) So cute!

Babies favorite
Our baby’s absolute favorite! Such a fun, cute little animal with pacifier attachment. Love that it is both a stuffed animal and a pacifier to comfort the baby, very versatile. Our daughter had hers from birth until the age of three and now our son has his as a baby, they are very durable and last a very long time, even after being washed and utilize daily. My only complaint is I wish at the pacifier came in different colors. Perfect for babies through toddler age! Makes a cute gift for a new baby as well!

The Elegantly Simple Solution to Pacifier Attrition – A True Game-Changer
As parents, we quickly realized the near-constant struggle of pacifier maintenance: dropped, lost under the crib, or ejected from the bassinet within moments of settling. The Wubbanub Giraffe is, simply put, a brilliantly engineered solution to this common, low-stakes parental crisis. The integration of the hospital-grade pacifier with the generously sized, weighted plush giraffe is its genius. The slight weight of the animal provides just enough counter-leverage to keep the pacifier from rolling too far or being entirely lost to the abyss of the crib mattress. More importantly, it gives the baby a substantial, tactile grip that facilitates early self-soothing. Our little one quickly learned to locate the large, brightly colored giraffe and maneuver the pacifier back into place long before developing the necessary fine motor skills to manage a plain pacifier and clip system. Beyond its functional utility, the giraffe itself is adorable, serves as an excellent visual cue, and has become a cherished "lovey" and transitional object as our child navigates new sleep environments. It holds up impeccably to frequent washing (a non-negotiable feature for infant items) and the integrated design is far safer and less cumbersome than fiddling with external chains or clips. For the value it provides in reducing frustration—both for the baby and the sleep-deprived parent—this product earns my highest recommendation. It is a thoughtful design that addresses a critical need in early infancy.

We 💚 WubbaNubs
I purchased this product after using the Phillips Avent Soothie Pacifiers for my little daughter. They are the only pacifiers she has ever taken. It's also the kind they gave her while she was in the NICU at the hospital. I am so glad someone came up with this idea! Pros: 1. Cute animal for girls or boys. 2. Easy to keep track of - easy to see in a dark bedroom at night & also when you are holding the baby, they are much easier to grab as they are falling than a Paci alone. 3. Stays in better than a Soothie Paci by itself - we often prop the animal on her chest and she seems to love holding on to the soft stuffed animal & can even sometimes push it back into her own mouth. She has also learned over time to guide it into her mouth on her own. 4. Durable - after several washes in the machine, it seems to be holding up just fine. Cons: 1. Tedious cleaning - I usually wash them on gentle in the washing machine but worry about my daughter ingesting detergent residue so I usually then wash off the pacifier top with a pacifier wipe. 2. Falls out - not as much as when it's only the pacifier - could just be my daughters tongue pushing it out or something but I think worth mentioning.

Great item; daily use
I got the giraffe Wubbanub for my daughter when she was 7 weeks old. She is now 12 weeks old and uses it daily. She loves to grip the legs and flop it around before trying to get the soothie back into her mouth. Sometimes she misses and gets one of its horns or ears in her mouth - very cute and works well to satisfy her for a small period of time. I use the front paws to wipe drool off her chin quite frequently. I love that you can throw the whole thing into the wash with the baby clothes to give it a good cleaning (instructions are on the tag). It is easy to clean just the soothie should the nipple touch the ground. She typically naps on her side and this particular Wubbanub lays perfectly next to her while keeping the soothie in her mouth. Also, it is quite adorable and I love taking pictures of her while she cuddles it! I would recommend this product to any parent who uses a pacifier with their child, especially if they are using Avent soothies.

My favorite baby purchase!!
I bought this when my son was a couple weeks old because he favored soothie pacifiers and I loved the idea of being able to more easily find the pacifier, having something my son could hold onto, and having something that sort of propped up the pacifier while he was too young to keep it in his mouth well enough on his own. This has met all those expectations wonderfully! I've since purchased two more for when my son drops his in gross places and they need to go through the washing machine. In between washes in the washing machine I wash only the pacifier part and it's not too difficult. Once in a while the tip of the giraffe's nose gets wet but that's not a big deal and it dries quickly. I should mention that I've seen other WubbaNubs and knockoff WubbaNubs and so far the giraffe is my son's very favorite. It's longer than the others and narrower and more easily stays on his chest. Now that he's 7 months old that's not important because he can keep the pacifier in his mouth and he can also put it back in his mouth if it falls out. But when he was smaller it was just the perfect size to sit and stay on his chest. He also loved holding the giraffes ears. When he first learned to grab at things he'd grab the giraffes ears happily and by default would hold the pacifier in his mouth better as he was falling asleep. I only add these things because choosing which adorable stuffed animal part was difficult but I had to keep getting the giraffe because of those reasons! One more reason to get this is that once babies can reach for things and put things in their mouth these are even more amazing. My son drops his and can easily find it and put it back in his mouth. He also loves to play with it as a toy! I can imagine him loving this for a long time, long after outgrowing pacifiers. Best purchase. I don't know how I would have made it through the infant months without these!!!

10 stars - very best baby gear purchase we made
No really. If there is one thing that was worth every penny and probably a lot more, it's the WubbaNub. At first it seems crazy to pay $12-15 for a single pacifier but we have 4 of these and nothing has gotten more use for the dollar. The carrier, the swing, the jumper, soothing seahorse, white noise machine, the bouncer - none of these have given our daughter (and us) as much comfort and they all cost a lot more. It seems like such a simple concept but it really is revolutionary. Our daughter was not a thumbsucker or a pacifier fan for the first 4 months of her life until out of desperation for better sleep and for her to self-soothe I tried this (giraffe was our first) based on the good reviews. We regret we didn't get it sooner! It seems like such a simple concept but it really is revolutionary. It's a soother and a lovie wrapped into one easy to transport package. When she was a lot younger, it stayed in her mouth so much better than a normal paci. And no more running into the nursery at all hours to help retrieve a lost paci. She can find it and replace it herself. Her Wub has gotten her through scary shots, repeated ear infections, ear tube surgery, nebulizer treatments, doctor visits, and the transition to daycare. It was the only thing that gave her any comfort during one particularly horrible diaper rash. She is 13 months old now and loves her Wubs as much as ever but now they are for naps and bedtime only. She naps 2-4 hours a day and sleeps 12 hours a night with no intervention from us. She is still nursing so it never interfered with that. Washing the WubbaNub is really easy. We throw it in a lingerie bag and wash with the rest of her clothes. It air dries very quickly. In between washes, of course you can just wash the paci portion with soap and water. I would not let concerns about cleaning deter anyone. This has become our go-to shower gift. Not every baby is a paci baby, and ours wasn't until she had her Wub. I'd give this 10 stars if I could.

hmmm not sure YET...
I just received this cute little giraffe wubbanub today and was so excited to have my 10 wk old son use it. This review is not at all a valid review of the pros and cons obviously because I just got it today BUT what I wanted to know is are all soothie pacifiers created equally?? I know there is the gumdrop and the avent ones which he didn't seem to like but He received his first soothie paci in the hospital and loves it. When I put the wubbanub one in his mouth today when he was fussy and tired he seemed to not want it at all. Granted this could have been a coincidence but it seemed odd so I put the "hospital one" in his mouth which he has had over 2 months and he seemed to take it just fine. Confused? If this has happened to anyone I would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions. I want to buy another one as I love the concept but not sure if I should....Thank you in advance!! Will update my review in about a week...:)
