Firestone4176 Coil-Rite Air Helper Spring Kit

I'm not 100% happy with the performance of the bag, but I bought it knowing it wasn't an exact fit for my application. I installed it on a lowered 2015 VW Golf TDI, and it was a tight fit. I'm running 5 PSIs in the bag and when the car is empty the ride quality is not terrible, but it's not the greatest. However, once the car is loaded the ride performance does improve and the bags do an excellent job of preventing rear suspension sag and the tires from rubbing against the fender if I hit a bump in the road. Installation was relatively easy and just required a bit of tenacity with the bags as deflated as possible. I would recommend those product.

I put these in my 2014 VW jetta sport wagen, they fit, I ran the air line down and along the lower control arm, ran the air line by the right rear tow hook and mounted the air line fitting there, so I can still air it up and hide it at the same time.

I didn't have any problems to install it. You can read on forums that people spend hours to do it. It took me more time to get the car n the lift. All you need is a vacuum pump and they slide in.First set I got was leaking air at the valve. Don't waste time to call Firestone customer service. They want you to take pictures with soap bubbles before they help.Thanks to Amazon I got an exchange quickly. The system with the valve at the bag is the problem. Of course when you drive the car is going up and down and at one point it pulls the hose out of the valve. Takes 2 minutes to fix it, but there should be a smarter way of doing it. My car doesn't have enough ground clearance to keep the hose longer and to compensate for the shocks movement.When it works it's okay, but you have to be patient.

Everything was good except when i went to fill with air both schrader valves wouldnt take air. Pulled the valve cores out and replaced them and they took air and worked good.

Fit my 2009 VW Jetta TDI - hard to put in (winter, stiff), i warmed them up and struggled, but got them in following the instructions. really do work. i loaded my Jetta up with my wife two college aged boys, lots of stuff for a Christmas trip to the black hills, and i was able to inflate and prevent sagging and bottoming out. really nice!

I have learned that Firestone looks for any reason not to cover faults in their product. I tested on bag at 5psi before installation to be sure they did not leak, because I had another Firestone bag set with a leaker. Sure enough, one was leaking at the bag connector. Because I filled the bag with any air prior to installation, they refused to warranty the leaking valve!!!Firestone also said they are denying warranty because I bought on Amazon! Buyer beware.Do not buy Firestone aftermarket products, that branch of the company is WORTHLESS.

Just installed these on my mk5 Jetta Sportwagen a few days ago. Installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. I'll follow up with a performance review once I've put a few miles on them.

Do no, I repeat don't buy this. I have a VW Tiguan so it weighs practically nothing. The install was a cake walk however, the air lines will not stay charged. Every few days I have to put in more air. Spend the extra money and get real airbags.

Installed and the air line fitting leaked immediately, pretty useless, removed and returned.
